I really love how you compliment them, but I also love how complimented their songs too because I’m really tired of how other kpop fans have this narrative that NMIXX singing them is a waste of talent. You basically reiterated what I always think about their songs, which is that they are made and crafted especially for them, designed for them to shine and challenge themselves without hurting their voice. I also think their songs have live performances in mind. You notice how every one of them have potential with a band. Anyway Their songs are so underrated and it’s crazy to me. The other day I was listening to them in shuffle and it’s amazing how many different kind of songs they have and the girls always bring different flavors in each and every one of them. What I like the most about NMIXX is that they always surprise you, bring something’s new, which is why stanning them is FUN and overall such a joyful experience bc the girls are so talented and I think their songs highlight that.

Kpop is filled with teenagers willing to do anything to put their faves on top,for nmixx,there’s nothing to complain about,they’re literally the best vocalists in kpop,the whole group are top tier,not just 1 or 2 members like other groups,their choreographies are always on point,other fandoms got scared and started attacking NMIXX’s songs for no reason except if they don’t do that NMIXX will surpass their faves,and as usual,other gullible teenagers had to follow the opinion of people online just to feel like they fit in. I’ve love all nmixx song since o.o.

If JYPE has any sense they should be releasing NMIXX's Tiny Desk as a special album, similar to an "MTV Unplugged" release.
Why would they do that? That means they have to share profit with the tiny desk, if they want to try to make profit of it they should remake it with their own production..

@@ddhika7332 I think it should be obvious why they should do it. Shared profit is still profit and Tiny Desk deserves their share for their contribution. It was because of Tiny Desk that these versions were made and became known so they deserve to be rewarded if they were to be released.
Just from the comments on the original video and here it’s obvious there’s quite a bit of demand for these versions to be available to buy and if you knew the history of acoustic versions of popular songs you’d know there’s plenty of profit to be made there. MTV Unplugged made big money for many artists like Eric Clapton, Mariah Carey, 10000 Maniacs and so on when album versions were released of their sessions.

I think a lot of people including myself 100% can relate to what you said about vocals in K-pop in first part of the video. And that’s why people who appreciate vocals are falling in love with NMIXX, I saw it a lot already among TH-cam content makers. It warms my heart that all the work and passion girls put in their music and vocals starting to pay off and they get more and more recognition. There’re other groups with great vocals but the passion of ALL the members and their continued improvement is what gets me the most and makes NMIXX special in my heart. Thank you for your love and all the videos you make about them!❤

Ideally, I'm dreaming of a reality where the performances NMIXX delivers aren’t the pinnacle of K-pop but represent the norm. Of course, I know such a dream isn't realistic, so I hope that at least 2-3 other great groups will emerge to compete with NMIXX and their musical achievements. It's not because I'm an Nswer, but as a long-time K-pop fan, I dream of such a future. I see hope in NMIXX. 사랑한다 나의 여섯 공주들.

the girls are so talented , and their voices are just amazing
This is my opinion about the voices of each NMIXX member (sorry if my English is bad)
Lily: very good in the upper register among the other members, good at belting, and very clear pronunciation of songs
Jiwoo: very attractive voice, has good rhythm, and knows the best about beats
Sullyoon: lower register to belting is very good, hidden gem voice of NMIXX
Bae: her lower register is very good, has a unique tone, and the whistle note in the song Beat Beat makes her not to be underestimated in NMIXX
Kyujin: very good in falsetto and mixed voice, her voice is very stable (I think her voice is the most stable among the members when dancing, although the other members are also stable)
Haewon: chest voice to belting is very good, voice changes from chest, mixed, to falsetto or head voice are the best among the other members, plus good riffs and runs too
Additional: in my opinion the tone of voice that most complements the vocals in NMIXX and cannot be replaced is Jiwoo, Sullyoon, Bae
Plus the voices of the six members combined in the SAME GROUP make them one of the best kpop groups ever.
If I talk about how they harmonize and so on, I think my comments will be too long😂

I honestly cannot stop rewatching it 😭😭
After NMIXX cover of happy, there was a huge resurgence of this b-side song by Day6. Koreans started to listen into the song because it’s a pretty sad song despite the instrumental being upbeat and it literally became an all PAK and won Day6 numerous awards recently. Day6 even thank NMIXX for covering it and also covered NMIXX love is lonely in return.

Nmixx is the first group to do a proper tiny desk concert. You can tell if a group has done any kind of post production or cuts because it’s labeled as a special performance in the title, fun fact! But nmixx is the first to bring true live.

I think the reason NMIXX is so good is they had to follow TWICE and ITZY. JYPE knew they had to create some sort of avengers group of talent and they did it haha. NMIXX is one of my favorite groups, they are extremely talented and their personalities are so good. I just wish that people wouldn't use their talent to punch down on groups who may not be up to their level.

you missed some of Sullyoon's very low register parts that she hits in the other songs but her low register is so beautiful it's crazy how wide her range is!
insane how much hate jyp got for their girl groups after twice and yet they’re the only groups that consistently sing live and do it WELL. they literally never fuck up. Unrealistic standards? More like what KPOP used to be. I miss when first second and third gen used to always sing live. Now we get that plus some third gen and so much of fourth and fifth gen lip syncing.
People are just mad and jealous that their favs aren’t as good at performance than JYP groups and KQ groups 🥳
Good vocalists who can sing well live - it depends on genetics. And there are not many of such people. Plus they need a healthy lifestyle and training. There simply cannot be many of such groups

I love NMIXX’S music even though I barely listen to it in daily life; that’s because it’s performance-oriented. Their vocals are showcased amazingly, so they can still sing while dancing. I have less trouble singing their songs than groups which are less vocally proficient, because the melodies are just written in a way that they are easier to sing while still impressive and allowing the members to show off
So excited to hear your interviews and I really hope they reflect more companies treating and being willing to talk to their artists as vocal artists!

In this generation of kpop where an easy sounding, boring, short & repetitive song made for the sole purpose of virality is the new standard if what a "good song" should be as well as lowering the standard in order to give way for kpop idols who can barely give the proper bare minimum in order to push the agenda of "improving" & "hardwork" of being an idol whose main product is still music & the focus on parasocial relationship as well as kpop stans only wanting the marketable level of the idols. I'm glad a group like NMIXX exists. A group where you have members who are actually skilled, talented & competent enough to do their job & is committed in enhancing their skills. I'm just glad they debuted at a decent rate & is rapidly showing more improvement. I hope for this group to take the top spot while staying true to their concept image. There's a lot of other kpop groups who are just as talented as NMIXX & I hope they will also get recognized. I'm glad the NMIXX members are under such a big kpop ent company, they're pushed & their talent is not easily overshadowed compared to other kpop groups who are backed with easy contents but can't give the proper bare minimum.
Looking forward to watching your upcoming interviews with the bands that agreed to do them. Your proposal and the companies’ response shows that the audience is interested in knowing more deeply about the group’s artistry and vocal skills, but the companies are not open to do it yet.

I've been completely obsessed with the Tiny Desk performance and I've been waiting for your reaction to it! ❤ My selfish self also wanted to hear your breakdown on Run for Roses (the ending run in particular, where all 6 of their voices weave in and out with each other) but I also understand your choices for this particular video!
I admit I'm also one of the many that were immediately (understandably so) hooked to Lily/Haewon vocals, but the Tiny Desk performance was my eye-opener for Sullyoon's voice - I've always recognized her in their songs but never truly appreciated them until now! The way she hits the higher registers without making it sound "forced" is so pleasing to the ears, and now as I continue going through their early catalog I find myself instantly recognizing her tone and color.

I started listening to Kpop during early second gen and there have been plenty of individually great female singers- Taeyeon and Raina were two of my favorites, but just about every group had at least one really good vocalists. But as far as entire groups go, the only two that I can think of that were truly great were Stellar and Spica. Unfortunately both were very short lived because I don't think Koreans in general really care about quality singing all that much. I hope I'm wrong about that and NMIXX is more successful than they were. They are just so good. Also, I don't think Haewon gets enough lines. As far as tone goes she's one of the best I've ever heard. Second only to Kim Bo-hyung from Spica.
