The impulse buy gets me so often. I've ended up selling a bunch of items I bought on a whim because I live in the midwest and don't really have luxury store options. I go to NYC fairly often and when I'm there I feel the need to buy something since I like seeing stuff in person
If you go often my advice would be to stop yourself buying it there and then and if you still want it after 3 months when you return and you've taken your time to think about it... then get it!
I bought the perfect black bag and its the perfect size - I used it at least every other day any time the dress code was business formal (as opposed to casual) or when I just wanted to look good.....I started researching the secondary market and got scared of scratching the bag etc. I notice ive been using it a lot less. A bag a person is scared to use is not a good purchase at any price. G
@@luxecollective Yes! I was raised "old school" and taught to think in terms of "cost per wear" when shopping. Thanks again for the reminder and by the way I love the tone and vibe of your channel: working class guy talking LUXURY.....love it TY
I DO adhere to these rules! For my luxury and designer bags, I do put a lot of thought into the style and how often I will use it, avoid trends and stick to classics and actual stores and not resellers or secondhand (unless I do know for a fact it is authentic). For fun trends, I opt for far less expensive and mass produced ones that are easily available and well... cheap. I dont mind having big box store or 'amazon' bags next to luxury brands in my closet- and when the fad fades and I no longer want or use it... donating it doesn't give me pause- or hurt my bank account ;)
I’m new to your site. so far so good! Maybe you’ve already done so, but if you haven’t, wouldn’t be worth talking about luxury brands who really do meet the quality measure? There are some luxury bags that really aren’t worth the money because of their tanning practices or because of the way in which they process the leather … Also, what about up-and-coming luxury bags that are giving cause for pause and consideration? What are some of the newcomers that you feel are worth keeping an eye and may be investing in now?
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought 2 *amzrepe* bags in the past 3 years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
So I'm interested in buying a Lana coach bag, a polène bag or a longchamp bag the leather one not the nylon. Would you say these are good investments? I can't afford a Louis Vuitton at the moment 😢
I'm not into classics unless It's vintage, the current ones not worth the price. I know some designs can be hyped and trendy, but fashion come and go all the time and most of purses now looks like a 70's mommy bag.

I’m glad I’m not onto luxury bags, therefore I don’t have difficulty with these mortal temptations and after-sale mistakes.😅
What I love about Luxe Collective is videos like these. And also, they're from Liverpool! :)
Thanks so much Joanne!! We ❤️ you

Bags are made to be used!! That's why luxury bags cost so much more - they're made to be more durable and to be worn a lot

Last year I bought Mulberry Bays water, and I AM SO REGRETTING. Too big, too difficult to close, I want to sell

Hey man just watched the triple s video from 2ys ago if GOAT has the sizing charts should I still go down a full size?
What brands are worth it regarding quality of their products and how their manufactured especially with the situation regarding Chanel.
I’m fighting between what I want (Constance or Evelyn), and what I want to start purchasing Fendi peekaboo. I’m trying to hold out
I would recommend waiting it out until you know exactly what you want!
i love your channel and i love this video
Thank you!! Really appreciate it 🙏🏼
