Can't believe I've not heard Frank until chatting with my son earlier this evening and he shared one of his songs with me. After 2 minutes I'm a big fan. I'm 59, and was 18/19years old when punk rock hit the scene. Cheers James for teaching your Dad. 👍
My folks never understood punk rock. As a kid, they would drop my with friends to go to shows, and pick us up later on. As an adult, I have seen Social distortion with my parents a couple times, Bad Religion, Rancid, the Interrupters, Old Man Markley, and The Swingin Utters I myself listen to thinks a little softer now, my kids love it all. They'll be lucky if they get older and still like punk rock, since I'm their dad. But good on you Paul for broadening your music tastes.
I wish one of the biggest celebrities in America was a folk/rock/punk singer. Hardcore, punk, folk, as much as I hate to admit it... You Brits just do it so much better these days.
How can you not immediately fall in love with a man sitting on a chair with bare feet and cuffs in the water under a glowering sky, especially when he writes such awesome songs. I'm so, so gone! :-D
I lost a close friend to cancer this week, this song has gotten us through our last month together, its the only thing keeping me smiling; Thanks turner.
I remember being 8 and first listing to this it's Been my favourite songs for years now every time we go on holiday in the car this song will be at least 6 time new been a better song every day walking to school I'll sing this in my head when I was suffering from low mood this song got me through it and there for it's got a place in my heart. I remember getting bullied in school before we new I had dyslexia it was cause on every speeling test I got one I would come home and cry sit in the tolit to miss the spelling test crying every night and morning and this was the only song I listened to and I listened to it for hours and hours. This song has got me through some tough time and it's getting me through quarantine

@@thanescott4446 He does actually ask members of the crowd to croudsurf in this one, there's a pro shot of it from as festival in Germany in 2016/17, even if the stream does briefly cut out.
The fact you’re all saying I’ve seen frank and he does this and he does that... man he’s an average Joe who makes music that appeals to many . Who gives a f*ck whether this is bullshit or not. I doubt turner will suck you off either way.
I use to hear this at a restaurant I use to work at. Some people get dead tired of work playlists, but I loved this tunes and eventually managed to Shazam it.
Still enjoy this album after all this time. I don't remember who introduced me to him, but he has made a huge impact on my life and I will always appreciate it.
I think Frank is wildly underrated...or not enough people have discovered his amazing talents. His songs manage to sound like classic folk tunes that have been around forever and modern at the same time.
I remember the first time I heard this song was in 2013.Unfortunately, I didn't know what is the title of all time. Nevertheless, whenever I feel depressed, the rhythm always comes to my mind. Today, I finally found it on TH-cam. "If ever I tray" what a fantastic title! BTW,this is also the first time I leave comments on TH-cam.🎉 Thank you for composing this song.❤
love love love this playlist! frank turner thank you so much for producing and sharing these amazing tunes. you are living proof that the music didnt ever really die way back on that day in '59. hope your doing well. cheers
The fact that Frank Turner sings with genuine meaning and moral behind his lyrics not only proves that the world is not all full of Justin Biebers and One Directions but gives me that extra bit of faith in humanity. Thank you, Frank, for not being generic.
Mr no 1 ... Feels so good to see him hit the recognition he deserves ❤️ saw him at the O2 about ten years ago at my absolute worst...and I walked out full of fire. Conflicted cos I've been a day one fan... N now he's getting recognition I'm gonna be looked at by all these newbie fans when they rinsing his songs like ' what dyou know about Frank turner thou ?!' it's like jungle dnb all over again 😂 so very happy for him.
Frank is everything a musician should be. Honest, humble and proud of where he comes from and how he's gotten to where he is today. England is blessed to have him, music is blessed to have him and I am so so happy for him that he is finally getting the success that he's deserved ever since Sleep Is For The Week was released.
Took my daughter to see Frank for her first live show. It was the last gig of a long tour, but he absolutely delivered! (The Gov, Adealaide, Aust.) Hung around for a chat and a photo, lovely bloke and seemed genuinely chuffed that his was the first show she ever went to. My girl loved the music, the energy, his humour and his kindness. His music has helped both of us over some rocky patches. Thank you, Frank.
Frank played Atlanta last night. I thought the crowd would go nuts for this song. I was wrong. They went nuts for every single song! If you get the chance, you should definitely see Frank Turner in concert.
my 8 year old was walking along singing this song....group of students passed her commenting how cool that kid was singing frank turner....so dam proud!!
Seen ya in Cleveland when you played there for your first time. Made me a fan!!! Your guitarist wiped out , fell down, and your band did not miss a beat.. So punk!!!!

When I was at Reading Festival last year I saw Frank Turner for the first time...I hadn't heard of him before. I fell in love. I then had the choice of seeing him again that day by going to watch his secret set...or watching Ed Sheeran. I chose Frank...and I don't regret that decision :')
