This will make a lovely scarf as soon as I finish the one I'm on now. (Or maybe not finished.) This is an easy pattern to follow and instructions are very clear. Thank you for both.
I enjoy your videos very much. You are clear, thorough and easy as pie to follow. Not all teachers are created equal, you are one of the best for my taste. Thank you.
Great tutorial Thank you! Very clear, very understandable. I'm brand new to wanting to learn more than the basics and I'm going to try all of your tutorials
Thank you for this. I would like to try incorporating this for a swater in the round. Would you be able to convert this please for how to knit this in the round?
I'd like to thank you for uploading this. It's a very pretty pattern and I'd imagine it'd be nice for the spring and fall, depending on the color chosen. :>
PleasantSeas, I have one more request. Could you offer a picture or video of a larger finished piece? I have just completed the first 10 rows and am trying to figure out how a whole leaf would form from just a repeat of these 10 rows. I am using a #3 DK cotton/linen and a #5 (3.75mm) needle. Looks so pretty.
Very nice I plan on trying this with a hat. We'll see how that goes xD. I'll send you a picture if i am victorious. Thank you very much by the way. Happy belated new years. :)
i was thinking of trying this out...but i was wondering what yarn you used?. i was going to use double knit regular acrylic, using 4mm needles (UK size). what would you recommend for this type of design?
Thanks for sharing this video. I was actually trying to follow a leaf pattern with some trouble. Seeing how it is done really helps. I would like to make a request for future tutorials (that I noticed while trying to follow along with this one). When you start the lesson, you already have some of the work done so when you mentioned how to do the 2nd row and all even rows that will be repeats of this same row, you only spoke about what to do but did not do it slowly like the 1st row. You have already gotten far enough along to see your leaf pattern but for us viewer, we cannot see it yet. Could you still go over each stitch at least up to the repeat (*) because someone that is new to lace knitting or just starting the pattern will not begin the see the leaf pattern or not be as confident to do just do it as they are doing the stitches correct. It seems it would be better suited to us to actually see it being counted slower. In order to be reassured that the stitches we are knitting are being done correctly. At the beginning of row 2, the pattern states to do a series of stitches that ends with a k3 and then need to be repeats starting with a k3. While this may seem like a simple and easy task for an experience knitter or someone who has done some form of lace knitting before, I know I would feel much more reassured to see I am following the pattern correctly at the repeats so I do not knit too few or too many stitches at the beginning of the repeats. Thank you. It is a common misconception (or misunderstanding) by instructors or someone who is use to doing something to assume others can follow along just as easily or know what is being taught is being comprehended. I have made the same mistake while assisting others too. But even what may seem simple to one may not be to others. It would really help a lot. It is also more true for a left handed knitter as well. It can be hard for them to stay on track knitting in the opposite direction while trying to comprehend the pattern a the same time. Thanks a bunch.
Do you have the pattern written down? It is good to watch but once it's going, it would be nice to have the pattern at hand. BTW, thanks for the great tutorial!
It would help a lot if you mentioned the row you are on before saying the stitches after speeding up to video to skip ahead. Also at 8:29 in your video on row 5, you said P3tog but on the screen and in the pattern state to K3tog, which is right; the audio or the two print of text in the description and on the screen? I thought that maybe when you paused speaking row 1 instructions that you had the pattern in print nearby you but maybe not. It might be a good idea to have it nearby as reference when doing the tutorial to avoid misquote or confusion with the instructions...just a suggestion.
I don't know what it is about this, but I have made it to row 3 completely fine, but once I start knitting row 4, I only have 31 stitches left, not 32, so I'm losing a stitch somewhere...but I don't see how she since I'm following row 3 the same as you show it. I give up though,😥
So I am confused again. On row 2 where you repeat to the end. All those stitches do get repeated. For example I cast on only 32 stitches because I just want to try the pattern and do thinner swatch before doing anything larger so my repeats stop at the k4. It that okay or should have cast on more than just 30 +2. Also why is the cast on 30 + 2? Could you explain that please? Thanks
Excellent tutorial I love how you actually show the stitch examples before beginning the pattern ..Bravo
This will make a lovely scarf as soon as I finish the one I'm on now. (Or maybe not finished.) This is an easy pattern to follow and instructions are very clear. Thank you for both.

You are a very good teacher. I love your video - so easy... I will be trying to do this.
What size needle did you use???

Hi new to knitting, if I wanted to just try this pattern do i cast on 30 + 2. So I would be working with 32. Is this correct?
Yes that's correct.
I don't know what it is about this, but I have made it to row 3 completely fine, but once I start knitting row 4, I only have 31 stitches left, not 32, so I'm losing a stitch somewhere...but I don't see how she since I'm following row 3 the same as you show it. I give up though,😥
Hi when u p3tog you p as if to k , (from left stitch not right stitch) I'm a bit confused can I ,,, p3tog as if to p ? Many thanks
Sharon Pritchard shepherd When you p3tog, you will be taking your right needle and going right to left through your sts.
Can you show the pattern prior to start
So I am confused again. On row 2 where you repeat to the end. All those stitches do get repeated. The cast on 30 + 2 is how many stitches you need to complete a pattern. If you were only working one pattern you should work the entire 2nd row.
Would you have written instructions, please? This is so beautiful. Thank you.
Is this stitch pattern written down anywhere so I can follow it without always having this video on?
Thanku so much
I googled the stitch for a bigger image for you. Hope that helps.

Oh, how pretty, thank you very much!
You should have shown what the pattern looks like. Then it becomes easier to follow.
HIISSSSSSSSS
I did not understand everything you were doing
very strange knitting technique !))) so many unnecessary movements and it takes a long time to knit a jumper )))
Ιt's the english style of knitting probably you use the continental style
