October 2012, the most 'hot' and most 'cool' girl group 'EXID' comes back with the song 'Every night' to fill the lonely hearts with their song.
EXID's new digital single 'Every Night' is a new arrangement of the song "Phone bell' from the album "HIPPITY HOP", originally sang by the member LE. It is newly arranged into 'Every night' and words and music is done by LE again. Shinsa Dong Tiger helped producing to make it better.

exid really knew how to toe the line between funny and sentimental. in this mv, there is the comedy behind the silly pepper scheme, but it never gets in the way of the sentimental part of the song. it never feels like this song isn't sad and bitter. and even with the little comedy parts and the ridiculous pain, we can still genuinely feel the grief the girls are portraying. i love exid so much, no one is doing it they way they did.

I kept on thinking why didn't I recognize any of the members, then I realized I had mistaken them for Spica lol. No matter how talented the group is and how good their songs are, if they're not popular or came from a known company (like SM and JYP, etc) then they won't get any recognition, but thanks to that legendary viral fancam, EXID acquired the recognition they deserve! :D

It just shows how pathetic the Korean music industry is. A video posted on the internet (showing some crotch moves) actually helped them getting the attention (that they deserve) from the public.
No wonder some people say that Korean are shallow, they won't even recognize a good music if it's not packaged with sultry dance.
***** A-pink comes from CUBE ent., its not a part of the Big 3 but it can be considered almost on the same par because of its successful artists, also they've done well to make A-pink stick to their cute concept, so knetizens will always identify them with a sweet lovable image - a successful strategy, also at the same time CUBE is able to get them more promotions because of its better finances from its other successful artists,
Girl's day on the other hand was always there somewhere but they never got that final push they needed. Taking a slight dip into sexy concept with Expectation worked out quite well so when they went all out sexy with Something, they finally won on music shows.
As for Ladies Code (R.I.P for the deceased members), I think two of the members were already on a survival program like superstar, so when they debuted the public immediately knew the group because of those members' popularity beforehand, it also helped that they had good vocals.
So you see, nowadays in K-pop you either make it or break it, sadly the ones that make it are not always on the talented field.

Just discovered this one and I already love it! But my personal favorite is AOA's "Miniskirt", I literally heard it hundreds of times the last few days and it's so fucking addictive. Probably the frequencies "Miniskirt" produces are having the same effect as cocaine :D I just discovered kpop but I don't really understand why AOA is getting so little recognition for "Miniskirt" (they are more popular for "Heart Attack" etc) when this is their most played single on TH-cam, lol.
