The title song 'First Love' is done by the best producer 'Brave Brothers' who made 'Because of You' for Afterschool. The punk and groovy sound shows the sentimental and sad voice colors of Afterschool that has never been shown before. It also shows the wonderful music colors of afterschool. I'm a 65 year old male from Iowa USA and grew up with progressive rock legends. The entire group of talent in After School and their body of work is nothing less than Tremendous! To this day I listen to them almost daily driving around town with volume high! I would fly anywhere to see them live. OC, Red and Blue variants were Outstanding! Shout out to Raina and Yoo Ara duets that just kicked it! Wish them all Happiness and Success. To me they ARE legends!

the first time I watched this (years ago) I was immature and thought of pole dancing as something sexual, now I see it for what it really is - a difficult dance style that requires a lot of strength. managing to dance this AND sing??? I'm impressed as heck! also, thank god I grew out of my immature thinking!

I miss the sexy girl group concept. After school has always been my favourite. Old but Gold.
After school stays the best female dance group of all time. They're undefeated(only group to be) in any dance battle beating Shinee, snsd, 4minute and Tara. Only group ever to incorporate drums, then tap dancing and finally pole dancing. First girl group to have the graduation system AND when they first debuted they had older members that were just as fierce, if not fiercer then the younger idols, and that was un heard from at the time. Even if after school was to disband because pledis has no money, I'm really proud of every single one of our girls, all 11 of them. They have brought me incredible joy over the years. I hope it's not over but if it is, we still made history play gurl :') future kpop fans will awe at After Schools incredible accomplishments as artists and performers.

5 Jooyeon (their most stunning first generation visual not getting any dramas or other variety promotion)
6 UEE (the girl that can give the company big bucks in acting, but she had to it with another company)
7 Nana (the full package girl that do acting, commericals and modelling)
8 Raina (the girl that has only been given gigs in ost, while she can do so much more)
9 Lizzy (the girl with the potential being on various shows but didn't get the opportunity)
10 E-Young (their most gifted musician girl not getting showcased, at all)
11 Kaeun (debut to early, the group fell apart and she had to participate in a show and not getting any reward afterwards)
12 Ara (their most stunning visual and full package girl gets rid off when the joint contract fell apart)
13 Yoonjo (she had half a year of injury and only a year of promoting in the group until she was kicked out)
14 Nayoung (years of waiting wasted and in a way failed being the leader for two groups, then she gave up being an idol and decided being an actress instead)
15 Roa (her visuals didn't get showcased, as it should)
16 Yuha (didn't even make it in the sub-unit, even though she could have rocked it)
17 Eunwoo (the lead vocalist that can give so much more)
18 Rena (their spiciest member and didn't get much opportunity to showcase that)
19 Kyulkyung (not being appreciated for her hardwork and now on battle with the company)
20 Yehana (their cutest member thinks she would not succeed in another company, so she stayed)
21 Sungyeon (not being showcased in her vocal ability, at all since debut)
22 Xiyeon (celebrating her graduation alone and ten years wasted for only a year of promotion while the next year she had to recover)
23 Kyla (not getting help for her bullying case, moved back to her country and was so traumatized she didn’t want to become an idol again)
24 Yunjin (stuck in the basement despite having massive potential)
Four girls are left with the company (Nana, Sungyeon, Yehana and Yunjin). Kyulkyung is fighting to be free like the others, so it’s still five.
Despite the amount of horrendous treatment the girls are getting, this video pretty much gives us a glimpse of how they felt being added to the group, or in other groups besides After School, finally debuting after so many years of waiting. The end result for each group (After School to Hello Venus to Pristin) is without a doubt humiliating for them. Pledis should be ashamed.
They absolutely suck at promoting and managing their talents. It’s not just the girls being mishandled either. For example their boy group Nu’est was given up on after being very under promoted and once they lost their popularity Pledis gave up on them. They had to go onto Produce 101 as 6 year veteran idols and accept the embarrassment to stay alive and by a lucky chance they started regaining popularity and now they’re back better than ever. Pledis is seriously such a horrible company

I don't see what the problem is with this mv. They are fully clothed and pole dancing is an art form that is many times seen as vulgar because of what most people use it for. These girl are dancing with class and grace. Especially at 2:15 with her in the white dress. It looks quite beautiful and artistic. We should appreciate that. These girls have eliminated my preconceived notions about pole dancing. Now I see that it is a legit art form.
This was one of the most complicated choreography ever, pole dancing is no joke. I remember when they performed this on live shows though there were no poles on the stage back then, they would dance on top of chairs in heels and that's not easy either. They deserve so much more

Besides it's not AS and OC were not successful. OC was probably the most successful subgroup around (except TatiSeo maybe... but it's hard to compete w SNSD and its already huge fanbase) and AS was tons popular in Japan.
they keep giving seventeen comebacks bc they are super successful and popular. seventeen basically brings in the money for pledis so thats why they keep investing money and effort into seventeen

It was like self-suicide, if fans grew attached to certain members Pledis removed them and added new ones. Same with 9Muses and Rania(even a YG produced 2NE1 song didn't save them). Basically Nana and Uee carried the group after Kahi left. Fans and Korea remembers them for charisma, serious and mature concept like Because Of You. They should have sticked with it but they proceeded with changing concepts too often.

I hope they will release a song as a group to commemorate their 15th anniversary. It shouldn’t matter if some of them are acting or doing other things, SNSD did it and they’re all very busy individually but they still managed to release a FULL album and even promote on music shows. Kara and T-ara also did it. Btw aside from Nana and Uee who are still very active in acting, the rest of the After School members don’t seem to be doing anything at all entertainment-wise.

I dont think there will ever be an After School comeback. and tbh even if after school was making a comeback now I don't believe they will get a lot of support, because the majority of them left already. the only popular, well somewhat popular, member left is Nana. so I don't think there will be much for a comeback
kinda painful to realise it but Pledis will not take the risk to invest into such uncertain comeback, since Pristin/Pristin V are so successful at the moment and they can earn so much without investing a lot and without risks too.
Kaeun is gaining a lot of support at Produce48 and the new debuting group's contract allows promotion with the girls' current groups.
If anything, a long awaited AS comeback, the sentiment of which was awakened into Korea's consciousness due to Kaeun, will yield way more support than Pristin will ever have.

Well i hope for sure for an After School comeback, even without most of the old members, but if there is no comeback in the next 6months then i will just give up and stop caring. 6 years hiatus is kind of equal to disbandment in k-pop industry.

To every new fan out there: 0:12 it's Nana, 0:19 it's Uee, 0:21 it's Jooyeon and she just graduated so she's not in the group anymore right now, 0:51 it's Raina she just had her solo debut check it!!, 1:07 it's E-Young, 1:12 it's Kaeun the last member that joined the group,1:15 it's Lizzy and on the 23rd she will debut with a solo song!,1:26 it's JungAh the leader of the group. The girls will come back in march or in the 2nd half of the year so please anticipate both Lizzy's debut and After School's comeback!
