Great review. I agree 100% that the GRMax is very snug and narrow. I’m between a 2E and 4E width, and was hoping GRMax would fit similar to Nimbus, but it was much too narrow and I had to return the shoe. NB5 delivers today, hoping the width works for me
@@abepirima3781 I would recommend it. I went with a wide in the Nimbus 25 and it fit pretty well. Went up to extra wide in the 26 and liked it better. With the Glideride Max the wide version just wouldn’t work for me. It was snug to the point of being uncomfortable.
I'm enjoying using the Glideride 3 but probably won't get this latest version because of the issues you mentioned. However, the Nova 5 is one I'll inevitably pick up at some time next year though it is a bit sneaky on Asics sending out the early proto model with the improved outsole but then not implementing it in the mainstream model so 'influencers' have something different to us regular folk. A bit deceptive and disappointing to hear.
There are no "issues" if you loved the standard ones I think you'd still like these. They are just a bit softer however still well structured and more suited to easy runs. I really like them.
I got the Gel-Nimbus 26 with a bit more then 500km ran ! What I liked to see is that this GlideRide Max has the same looks of the outsole of the Gel-Nimbus 26 , and for me this rubber compond and design is what is giving me amazing durability of the outsole. And this grip works amazingly perfect in wet conditions. The Gel-Nimbus 27 seems to me it is too bulky and went softer again ,like the Gel-Nimbus 25 ... I might get the GlideRide Max instead of the Gel-Nimbus 27 especially with the high discounts I'm seeing for the GlideRide Max.
Glideride max saves my Achilles Tendon and low calf muscle.

@@RamrodSmothers hopefully the NB5 will work for you

@abepirima3781 yes, get the wide
@@RamrodSmothers thank you so much for the respond. appreciated it mate !
The Gliderides 1 to 3 were excellent and distinct. I wish they would have fine tuned the 3 rather than make a max out of it.
@@relax101mag agree!
Great review. 🎉🎉🎉

@Fozzee.1970 agree!!
They are both max cushion! Lol.
@@Ginguredrunner stats wise yes... ride wise not so much
@@run-aredepends on your weight I think. Both are very soft for a 95kg guy like me.
Can't stand you keep referring to the shoe as Nova 5, I stopped watching at 3:10 .
get out of here.
Nitpicking. Get a life!
That's the most ridiculous critique ever

You must be fun to live with
Glide ride max or gel nimbus 26 ? 🫣
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have the 26 anymore.
