- Delivering Hope - Compassion Campers delivers homes to families in need. Western North Carolina Families searching for Hope!
Ride along for the trickiest part of the delivery as we work with Compassion Campers to deliver a camper in hard-hit areas of Western North Carolina. Nearly 8 weeks after the catastrophic flooding, debris flows, and winds many are still without housing. This camper was delivered to a young family of 6 that was fortunate to escape with their lives. Everyday Americans are working hard to help those who lost so much pull their lives back together. It is truly humbling to witness thousands of volunteers freely giving their time, resources, and talents to lift their fellow humans from the aftermath of this storm.
In this second video of a series, you will see first hand what progress looks like in just one of many small valleys.
Keep an eye out for the small camper leaving the property..... That will end up going to Larry who was living in a tent at the time. More on that in a WCNC feature story next.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping these families. This is what America is all about. God bless you all ❤🙏🇺🇲
God bless you all! Many are praying for all! We do care!
everyone that lives thru a winter must be feeling a little warmer watching people get a beautiful camper vs freezing cold tent, you folks are truely angels
She looks so happy and ready for a roof over her head. This compassion is great. Love to all of you. Keep these videos coming and do not stop till everyone is ok. People should not forget you. Christmas is near what about the kids? A video on that would be great. List of items needed and where to send them.
Build a shed roof over this trailer to keep the snow off and you should be cozy and dry
Thank you to all involved. One more housing unit better than a tent. One more residence capable of hanging on to remaining in the area. One family of many being able to stay in-tact.
Thank you for helping these people ❤❤❤❤❤ God Bless You

My husband and I have a 32 foot travel trailer that sleeps 8 that we have only used for visiting family members... and we would love to donate it to Compassion Campers, if anyone can get back to us. We're few miles outside of Hiawassee GA.
Do you know if the RVs that are being donated or given
Is it safe to say, from those downed lines, these folks still have no power?
They need people to dig n build out houses! Cause people won't be able to dump tanks!!
Y’all, I survived a hurricane; NOTHING like yours..!), But, my home was damaged; I was teaching school, then had to leave they, & focus on…plain getting through post hurricane. “Long story short”; my FEMA. Trailer FINALLY came…AND, that was GLORIOUS!! (It kept me WARM; it kept me DRY; I could take a bath.(!!); I could sit & eat at a table…! (I felt as though I’d won the lottery!! SO…ENJOY your temporary home!! “THINGS” WILL get BETTER!! 👍🏻👍🏻‼️‼️
