We couldn't be happier with this whole experience: We did the amphibious vehicles two times because they were so fun ( night time too), I told my two sons that they would never offer such a rugged ride and so long in Canada ( super generous in the time and distance - 5 KMS ) without charging a huge fee, and it would be 'way less rugged. We found the food to be outstanding - the Picania was out of this world. The zip lines were the real deal! Even a bit scary for me as an adult. Zip line into the water - my boys loved it, but me, not so much.
Awesome video! I will be heading there in two weeks. What time would you suggest we arrive at the park? We want to try to do all of the activities and am scared there wont be enough time!
Thanks! You're going to have a great time. When we went, the park opened at 9am. We got there at 8:30 and went directly to the line to get in. This gave us the full day to explore everything. Hopefully that helps 😃
Quick question. How do you activate your helmet cam every time to film? It's got to be cumbersome to try to find that button to turn it on. I have a GP9
Hey Jeffrey, great question. I would tilt my head down and have my wife turn it on and double check it was recording by the red light flashing. Hope that helps 😃
when i went, i loved the off-road course and the last zip line where you go in the water, they were the best parts, and also the buffet is good, tbh I think it’s better than disneyland, there’s no lines at all, and very rarely if there is a line, it’s always really short, overall I really recommend it and it’s a lot cheaper than disneyland too.
@@Jdub00884 No worries. I have a fear of heights too, but I was able to do this just fine. They hook you up to the zip line far enough away from the ledge that it feels safe to start zip lining. Hopefully you'll feel the same.
I really want to go. Thank you for sharing. But I dont know how to swim 😢 Were going in 6months. Maybe I can learn before then. Is the water deep in the caves?
hey thank you for making this video. I'm just curious as to how you got around from the airport to your destination and other places? I'm thinking of going but I wouldn't know how to get around.
Hi Maribel, We rented a car and that's how we got around. One thing we learned is that you don't pump your own gas at the gas station. When you pull up to the gas station, you tell the attendant what type of gas you want and how much. We also gave them a small tip. Hope that helps 😀
Hi Linda, the zip lines are NOT mandatory. That's the great thing about the park is that you can choose what you want to do. I'm excited for you. It was such a fun experience! 😀
Hi there, thsnk you for your video, so informative and helpful for planning. I was wondering about the deer zipline route. Is it very high? I'm a bit scared of Heights but would love to try it. In your video you mention it's only 3 ziplines but in their website they say there's 7 ziplines and in another video it's says 5 zip lines for the deer route.
Hi Veronica. The Deer Zipline is 98 feet high or 28 meters high, but because you get clipped in on the platform it doesn't seem as scary. I'm scared of heights too, but I loved these ziplines. We only went on 3, but maybe they are including the Hammock Ziplines as part of the Deer zipline route. That would make 5 zip lines if you include the Hammock Ziplines. Hope that helps. 😀
Hi Caitlian, I never got into the deeper water so I'm not sure. They have a platform at the end that you're standing in about 2 feet of water. For the deeper water, the person on the platform grabbed my hammock and pulled me over to the platform. Hope that helps. 😃
Hi there, Im planning on going with some friends but there are two that do not know how to swim! Did this Xplor park have any deep spots or were you able to stand in the water of all the activities? Thank you!
Hi Agustin, The only one that had some deeper spots was the river swim, but you have to wear a life jacket on that one so you are floating on the water. They don't have to do the river swim if they don't feel comfortable. You get to choose what you do and what you don't. Hope that helps 😃
It was about waste deep, so you can stand in the water pretty easily at the end. They also have a person at the end to help you stand up and get out of the water. You'll love it!
Did you do Xplor as well as Xplor Fuego? Curious, if one was to do Xplor by day, is there any reason to do fuego? We are going to be Xcaret hotel guests. Deabting to schedule Fuego since we already plan to do xplor by day.
We only did the regular Xplor. When we went they weren't doing Xplor Fuego. I wish I could have tried out both? Never been on zip lines at night. If you end up doing both, let me know how you liked Xplor Fuego. Xplor was amazing during the day, I can only imagine it would be fun at night too 😀
Thanks, it was so much fun. The minimum weight required is 88 pounds and the maximum weight is 300 pounds. I weight 220 pounds and I didn't have any issues. Hope that helps 😀
The park opened at 9am and closed at 5pm. We got there at 8:30am so we could get in first and then we left at 5pm as they were closing. So basically the whole day, but totally worth it!
How did you record? I wanna go and record my experience but I heard some people say they don’t allow you to record and I wanna take my phone but I’m afraid ima drop my phone.
Hi Layna, I brought 2 Go Pros. One was attached to my helmet. I requested a helmet that had a go pro mount. The other one I had on a wrist mount. I had to have both of my hands free, but they allowed the wrist mount since I could still use both hands. I don't know if they would allow a phone if its in your hand. It would have to be mounted some how. Hope that helps!
thank you for saying water shoes are needed! Will buy before i go. Can you say how much did you pay for the entire activities, do you pay for the go-pro vidoes and did you pay insurance for the vehicle? thanks
We bought our tickets in a bundle for Xplor an Xcaret, so we paid $207.98 for myself and my wife. That fee included parking and dinner. I brought my own GoPro, so I didn't have to pay anything for that. They do have a photo pass you can buy for around $27 per person. We didn't pay insurance for the vehicle. Hope that helps. 😀

You have a life jacket on so you're always floating and they have ropes on the side that you can pull yourself along. I'm 6 feet tall, and I was able to touch in a lot of places, but there were some places I could not touch. Hope that helps.
Hi, are the zip lines smooth when they stop? I’ve been on some rough ones where they jolt to a stop and it’s quite painful. Do these ones stop more gradual and smoothly?
These zip lines were so fun! It was never painful when we stopped, but you definitely swing up at the end of each zipline as you are stopping. There is always a person waiting at the end of each zipline to help you catch your balance as you stop. So it's not gradual and smooth, but it's not painful either. Hope that helps. 😀
My fiancée and I are going for our honeymoon next month! For the zip lines, is there a way I can avoid doing it while my fiancée does it or do I need to do it too to get to where he goes to? 😅 I’m terrified of zip lines and that’s at the top of his list to do 😂
Hey Mak, congrats on getting married next month! You enter and exit the zip line area in the same place because that is where you get your zipline harness and then leave your zipline harness, so yes you could wait there, but it would be a long wait. I'm terrified of heights, but the way they have it set up isn't so scary. Each platform gives you lots of room to get hooked up before you get close to the edge to start ziplining. If you can muster the courage, I highly recommend it. If not, you could wait there. Hope that helps 😀

When I was zip lining, I seen a black jaguar this place has a zoo? Are there cage animals? Caged cats?
Yes, they have a section that is like a zoo.
Can I skip the high points for zip lining 🙃
I didn't see anyway to skip the high points for zip lining. You would have to reach out to the park to see if they allow that.
