LA Dodger fan here born and raised. We lived on a nice big hill and from the front window I could see the blue and the lights of Dodger Stadium. My dad would be listening to Vin Scully on the radio and I'd be looking at the stadium knowing that those sounds on the radio were coming from right there. A nice memory to have from when I was maybe 5 years old. 67 now. I remember it clear as a bell. Anyway, since I've been watching Dodger stuff like crazy, TH-cam sent me your video. I feel your pain man. Been there a few times. I like your stuff. I subscribed👍🏼
Braves/Dodgers fan here (from Atlanta originally but live in LA now), so I’ve gotten my heart 💙 broken many times with both my teams…some of my first memories as a child were of the Yankees beating my Braves in the ‘96 and ‘99 World Series. Honestly I don’t think I ever recovered 😂. I still like The Yankees though and feel your pain (please don’t come for me Dodger fans; I’m one of you. Just being a good sport and honestly I like pretty much any team aside from the Astros and Padres), but yes I really wanted this to avenge my Braves. I still remember this one kid that came into school after the ‘99 World Series…he wore a full Yankees uniform, Derek Jeter jersey, Yankees jacket, just totally decked out in Yankees gear…and rubbed it in to a room of sad 7 year old Braves kids lol. Anyway, good game, good series, Yanks are still a hell of a team! I would know lol 😊⚾️👍
I like to send a thank you card to Mr. Cole. Greetings from the city of Angels. Thank you for making it so easy for us. The blue wave wiped out the Yankees in the World Series. We appreciate you stimulating Los Angeles for we are still in celebration mode. Best regards, Homie.
All in good fun. As a Dodgers fan, I do love talking shop and joking with Yankees fans. Yall seem to be a bit more mature than the others; maybe it's just me. Don't chase Soto; you're better than that. Keep Judge and Stanton, blow up everything else. Won't be in the running for next year, but maybe we'll see you again in '26.
No offense, but even if your Yankees won game 5, you were getting shut down by Yamamoto at home in Game 6. And the bats would've feasted on Rodon again. You weren't coming back in 7. 😂
It is never fun to lose the world series. That is going to be frustrating for any fan. To be leading in game one and lose on a walk off grand slam and then blow a 5 run lead in an elimination game is brutal. They’re the Yankees though. You know they will respond and be back.
And Padres just needed one more win & they beat the Dodgers- again! Dodgers forced a game 5 and both teams were on their game. Only two pitches mattered in that whole game. That was the world series. Respect to the Padres. I didn't really felt that tense against the tough Mets. But yeah, those two teams felt more of challenge.
the "04 alcs, this game and the 2020 nlcs when the dodgers put 12 on the braves in the first inning are the 3 worst innings i've ever seen in my life. funny enough, dave roberts was a part of all 3. go dodgers! also, it was catchers interference beacause shohei's bat hit his glove. he had his glove out too far and even by hitting it just slightly, it can destroy his swing on the ball.
The baseball Gods were extra cruel this year. You guys get to the World Series, and proceed to immediately have your souls crushed. Your down 3-0 and all hope lost....but a little magic happens and you survive to game 5. And then the Gods give you every last bit of hope and confidence something magical is going to happen. Judge remembers how to swing and your ace is dealing on the mound. But 1 god comes up behind you, softly says sshhhhhhh in your ear, slowly bends you over at the waist. You're face down, ass up and he quietly whispers "...Freddie" and just shoves it in hard and dry and laughs and laughs till that final strike.
I thought the same thing when I saw that until I saw a breakdown of it. It was actually his thumb you see sticking out. It looks like his middle finger though, And the way he kinda jerks his hand makes it seem like he is flipping the bird.
those cocky boys Jazz and Volpe got the karma handed to them. Both them shoulda been credited with that error in that 5th. Volpe bad throw, but Jazz coulda easily dug that out the dirt.
Why does Yankee fan whine constantly like the WS is their birthright? It's called losing and it has happened before. Maybe you've got the most to lose, but it's only because you've got the most. You need to lose for a while. As for having your hopes dashed, welcome to the rest of us.
Bro has a dodger fan yankee will be back in the WS next year. Your team is far better than any AL teams. I thought we were under dog because majority of our pitchers are injured. I hope we meet the Yankees next year with all our pitchers healthy. We beat the Yankees with 20% of our players injured that is impressive. I was so critical On Dave Roberts on the regular season, he did a great job in the postseason. Soto will come back to the Yankees only if the front office is not afraid to pay him north of 650.000 million dollars.
Honey, that ain't heartbreak. Heartbreak is watching the only team in MLB lose TWICE in Game 7 extra innings. The 1997 & 2016 Indians. Plus, we now hold the record for longest drought w/o a WS title.

It was catcher interference because the the catchers glove hit Ohtani bat that’s why 😆
