Looks like Mirei´s "Evilness" comes from a lot of stress for voices on her back and from being triked by Daybreak, poor girl. Danji surely is worried for her sister. Nice picture from Megumi in the hot bath and shocked for Danji on DayBreak.

Wasn't it more or less Danji's fault Mirei snapped? He should've just let Yuuyu and Mirei speak to each other at that point, instead he made Mirei think Yuuyu was making fun of her. Like using her blindness to try and deceive her just isn't a great thing to do to say the least lol
I think it has to do with Yuyu's ability to read peoples hearts because it seems to cause them to remember painful memories or at the very least memories they would normally keep locked up which is why Mirei was confusing what she was hearing with what she. remembered since one of the drawbacks to being blind is heightened hearing, touch, smell and taste but I'm this leads to her remembering the incident that resulted in Danji's disownment from their family.
Okay, we finally got some proper set-up for everything. Good mix of comedy, plot and action plus building up the intrique more and more for the antagonists. We finally get to a point were we want to see certain characters to fight against each other because now I'm interested to see how Yuyu will respond in a rematch for example.
This is everything we were missing from season 1 essentially. Aside from the last couple episodes we essentially had next to no plot and mostly filler like the wrestling episode and the episode where they thought the park was going to be closed.
I like how Mirei is trying to deal with the voices but it ultimately doesn't help as shes just bottling them up for said bottle to crack when she tried continuing to have a regular conversation with yuyu
At this point I think the main antagonist in this season is not purely Mirei but people around her anyway it's been a while since we got card's skill reveal in the anime
I think the moment where she stops for a bit is supposed to symbolize her bottling everything up, but that isn't healthy as while shes still acting nice she ultimately cracks as those voices are most likely still in her head
Starting to think at this rate, any episode with Mirei is just gonna be fantastic, another good episode with a decent balance between the cardfight and character interaction. But someone tell the animators to chill with Nirvana, my boi’s getting killed like every few episodes

When Bruce lost, he just closed his eyes and light engulfed him. Gravidia they turned black and just blew her up from there, Seraph Snow and Greedon got blown up by beams of light, Zakusa vs Masanori ends with the player going out, not the vanguard, off screen. Nirvana on the other hand gets slashed through him and eradicated by Bastion (two different fights), obliterated by Bruce, and now bled and burned to death by Bavsargra. They make you watch him die compared to everyone else lol
Wow, the tension in this episode is so hard, Trickmoon and Mirei somewhat saying that Yuyu's deck is ****, all because of what other people are saying about her makes me really want Yuyu to become a true friend to Mirei.

You're right, the sun is a star, but it could be a symbolic thing. Mirei and Yuyu both started with Trickstar. Mirei being influenced by all the noise she grew up around led her to a darker path, Trickmoon. Yuyu started off as a pushover and was very anxious, but Vanguard ignited a flame the continues to grow into a blazing sun, Tricksun.

This episode seems to give a big clue of why Mirei commands Daybreak to destroy all VG groups in jp. this might be a spoiler if I somehow guess correct. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I guess that when she played with some VG groups, she heard people talking but she couldn't tell if they were talking about her game or not and some voice sounded like they were mocking her, or maybe there were bad people in the group she played with and they really mocked her. And this is what make her started to destroy all VG group and attempt to bring them under Day Break umbrella. If I have to guess why she stop playing Trickstar and using Bavsagra, it might be bc Trickstar symbolize the promise between her and her brother. When she heard that her brother died(maybe some bad environment adds to the mix.), she thought even her brother couldn't keep her promise. So, she discard Trickstar and joined the dark side.

Mechanically you need some early defense and field presence later on as the weapon orders are kinda useless and just clog your hand till grade 3. And you can mostly play one at a time

Blind people develop better hearing senses to compensate for not being able to see, in Mirei's case it's making her hear more than she wants and frequently interprets what she hears as people looking down on her.

I think the bald guy is the true final boss, Haruka seems to care for Haruka and probably did all of this due to a lack of "equality" when her blindness caused issues with playing with other kids

@@nicolaaucello684 the difference is that Trickstar was with the deck from the beginning and Overdressing him is the deck's gimmick. Trickmoon comes after the deck has been established and has nothing to do with Arms - Bhasvagra's deck gimmick
I went from thinking Mirie was wholsome to wow what a snowflake (It will probs makes sense with her past but really getting upset over laughter without context). I find it funny she can pick up on details but not that the 2 voices weren't Yu-yu's & Toyha's XD. Danji trying to lead the conversation in a different direction while he knew it would fail was pre funny. Good episode still and the fight was decent.

That girl is evil! Anyone who would call a young hopeful player's deck trash has made a drastic heel turn. I can't wait for Yu-yu`s eventual comeback match. Kinda weird they threw the psyqualia moment in there but it was definitely a nice call back. This season is more enjoyable than the last even with the awful opener.

Hopefully this pushes Yuyu and even helps him add cards like Erger. It would make sense from a character stand point, but he has the support to where he won't ditch everything like everyone else has to get "stronger".

That girl is evil! Anyone who would call a young hopeful player's deck trash has made a drastic heel turn. I can't wait for Yu-yu`s eventual comeback match. Kinda weird they threw the psyqualia moment in there but it was definitely a nice call back. This season is more enjoyable than the last even with the awful opener.
