Can't really comprehend how this is possible. Can someone enlighten me on how blind football is played please? I'm so anxious and much curious if one can help me understand. Thank you.
It's not very difficult... Firstly, the ball is different from the regular ball. It has bells inside which makes sound while rolling. Also the ball doesn't bounce much like the ball used in regular football. Secondly, there are three people to guide them to move left, right, center, forward, etc. In the defense area, the goalkeeper (who is not blind) will guide them when opponents are coming. In the center part of the ground, the coach who is outside will shout and guide them. In the opponent's defense area (attacking area), there is a goal guide behind the opponent's goal post to guide them. That's it. The ball don't go out because there are side boards on both sides and it bounces back inside the ground (like carrom dice). One more thing.... The audience watching the game are not allowed to shout and cheer when the game is ongoing because it distracts the players from hearing the sound of the ball. People watching the game can shout and scream and cheer when somebody scores a goal or when the match is at a pause (before free kick, before corner kick, before penalty kick, during half time break, etc)
