NAVRATRI IN GOA MAKHAROTSAV 2022 PART 2

Goa is loved and adored by billions of people across the world for its sea, beauty and, hospitality. In the same Goa lies another Goa which is untapped temples of goa have its festivals spread across year. And among many famous festivals comes Navratri where temples celebrate Makhar's of goddesses and some gods too at temples like that of Manguesh, Naguesh, Kapileshwar, Ramnathi(though temple belongs to God, goddess Shanteri is seated in Makhar).
Godess Durga is pampered for 9 days and after killing Shumbh Nishumbh on the last day of Navratri goddess kills Mahishasur buffalo headed demon.
Godeess is seated on different asanas that can have lotus, tiger, ,lion, horse etc. Peacock being the most common. Devi sits in Makhar and she is cradled by devotees, the scene and the decorations takes your breath away, this Goa takes you on spiritual expedition. The music of the instruments will charge you up completely.
