Honestly Jeremiah is one of the rare TH-camrs that not only provides us with relaxation but also life advice at the same time. Your ASMR stories are so insightful to listen to, I'm sure it makes a lot of us feel like we are not alone in such situations. I hope your channel grows quicker, cause you deserve it!
I love these ramble sessions with Dad. Very solid advice on how to limit distractions. Group texts are one of my biggest pet peeves when I'm trying to get things done. Sometimes I have to mute the conversation to get things done. I still remember when I got my first NES system. It was for Christmas when I was in 1st grade and my sister was in 3rd.
Oh my God sir, you don't know how important this topic is for me as a 17 year old teenager who spends most of my day on the phone i mean it's 12:35 A. M right now and I'm still holding my phone and watching TH-cam so i did really need this video , i don't want to make you look old but for me you're about my dad's age so this video hits hard for me especially the last minute of it , it was really helpful, thank you ever so much mr jeremiah. All love and respect for you from Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️
24:26. Thanks for you to begin here and talk, i can focus on that.... i appreciate this and never forgotten you, Jeremiah relely have a relaxing times... thank you😊
Guys its so ridiculous how few subs he has please spread the word about him on other channels so he gets more support he deserves it and id appreciate it
1). Only now just realized we’re in the same age range. The perspective of life that you gave truly found it's way and now I'm reflecting on EVERYTHING. :) 2). I hope the intentions you have for this video serves its purpose to your community and beyond. 3). The Nokia ring tone and the impression of the guidance counselor was hysterical. You always somehow manage to get in some comic relief- it’s weaved into the “advice” so seamlessly your like a surgeon of story telling. 4). It’s a cocoon of dad-ness. It’s great. I only talk to mine when he remembers I exist so every once in a while it’s nice to have these. (I’m not “afraid” of them anymore) 😂😂 Really lovely! ⭐️😊 5). Always amazed and mystified at how connected one could feel through a video, this line from a song always pops up when I"m wattching- "give me some of that wild fox medicine". So weird but just so good. :)
I’m like your same age (maybe even a little older) and I freaking love this. Lol. Such a nice walk down memory lane. Btw… I thought ASMR was pretty stupid for a long time, but your channel is amazing. I’m sitting here cleaning broken glass off my kitchen floor and listening to this to help me stay calm and focused. 👌
this video is so fitting for me cause im a 16 years old teen who spends most of her time on her phone even though i got a lot of things to do, so this video is helping a lot! thanks J
I'm super appreciative of your videos as of late since discovering your channel. The shushing video has helped me countless times, and any time your videos touch on needing to focus really puts me in a place where I can sleep (as someone who's a big night ponderer). 💙 Thank you for all your hard work.
This was really nice to sit through. I needed that kind of advice :) This is my first time really watching a Dad roleplay video, it hasn't been a place of comfort for me since I don't have a very good relationship with my own father. Was a very nice change to escape for a bit :) Thank you Jeremiah
This reminded me of when my friend got the iPad when it came out and we were sitting outside a coffee shop looking at weather radar and my mind was blown. Watching technology grow has been fascinating and overwhelming.
Gosh when you mentioned the Nokia phone and that ringtone, the movie I was thinking of was Jurassic park 3 even though I don’t think that was a Nokia but that ringtone reminded me of that 😂 and when you mentioned the blackberry or “crack berry” it’s so true people were so addicted. Even I was and I adapted to that lifestyle even though it was my dads phone and I didn’t get my first phone (slide phone) until I was 14. For me I’ve been trying to detox away from my phone. Trying methods of turning off my notifications for certain apps I know I frequently go on. It’s like a switch and I don’t even think about when I grab my phone every 5-10 min or so. I want to break that cycle. There is something so true about decision making and wondering how your life will turn out or how you wanted it to turn out. Always thinking about the past and the future and the “what ifs” if your life had been a certain way. Honestly, for me I wouldn’t change anything even if I wonder how my life would be if I had taken an opportunity back then or now or changed this plan this and that etc. it’s so easy to regret decisions but again we just don’t know what’s ahead and that’s the scary part but also something to look forward to, learn from and all the things in between. This really spoke to me as someone who’s figuring out her life and there’s so much to explore so thank you for that perspective. Truly 💙
I love the perspective of talking to an older kid. They might not need “tucking in” but they still need to connect. It makes me think of how my sister instituted “talk time” with her kids as they got older and got phones. After 9:00 phones got put away and TV was off, they could stay up later if they wanted to just have a conversation with mom and dad. She said they always got the best stories during talk time.
21:00. i'm so thankfull for internet and technology so i listening to you... back to 80s if i born there i would never find a way to listing and asking you, i will naver known (Jeremiah is alive with same centre, like me). i will miss pressure talk and long years until i express it, someone could understand then give advices.. i'm so so greetfull🤍🤍
I'm pushing 30 and while I grew up with the internet, going from dial up and the ps1 to modern internet and games that look like real life has been unreal for me.
Sinclair Community college is where i took my GED. I was homeschooled so i couldnt get a diploma. You’ve mentioned before being from Dayton Ohio. I am from near there and its cool seeing someone from so close to where i grew up being famous
Don’t forget the first cell phones weren’t even smart phones. They were just portable phones. No internet connection/browser, no music… you could order ringbacks though, lol. Then apple made the iPod for music and then they made the iPod TOUCH which was like a smart phone without the phone aspect. And then all the experts told Steve Jobs that canabalizing his own product (iPod) and integrating it into the iPhone was a terrible marketing strategy but he didn’t care- he integrated everything into the iPhone and NOW they still sell Apple Watches, Macs, and iPhones and iPads and they all interconnect. And people still buy ALL of them. 🤷🏼♀️
@@ASMRJeremiah nice. I recall you mentioning AF museum in earlier video and wondered. Dayton is doing well. Nice strolls to the Oregon District is always fun.
18:17 yes i think in it (i takes the college way) but there was a (marriage path only need my answer "yes"). Honstly i'm so scared from marriage cause i keep looking for" Fatherly love" not only cook and clean.... i was scared because he only ask to (leave my friends +don't drive a car+ see my family 1 time in months + no late visiting + long black hair accepted) Jeremiah i feel in trauma (past memory) when i should beg for attention and visit friends and buying something, he choose for my thing only accept in family tradition.... someone say( you can change the man after marriage even is take years). After i know your channel Jeremiah, i feeling in special thing (it is acceptable without force), shure i can spend years alone but (no one day with conditional love) Your random talk... cute🤍

Alternate title: Dad has a brief existential crisis recalling his life decisions
lol - Thankfully no. It's just interesting to muse about other paths our lives could have taken, but I'm definitely living a blessed life. ;)
Sometimes, all someone needs is some dadvice

though nothing will capture the leap forward the 360 and the idea of playing online felt at the time as an early teen.

Dave Chapelle lives in Yellow Springs!! He’s SUPER famous. Also from Dayton, the entire Sheen family!! (Martin, Charlie and Emilio Estivez)
You should post this with like subway surfers playing underneath it
