I think one of the saddest things about this is how when we see Till’s pov Ivan is never in it, but when we see Ivan’s pov Till is EVERYWHERE. Every other person or face is not important like Till is to Ivan, meanwhilr Till doesn’t even SEE Ivan. And he knew, he knew his love wasn’t reciprocated, it’s so clear in his lyrics too 😭😭 I feel like Ivan knew he was going to die the second he turned back to go with Til…. Someone said it would be bad writing to do that with Ivan. I believe they are right because think about it, this whole "nope actually I'm alive" after being shot fatal wounds wouldn't make sense. Plus where do they dumb the bodies? Neither Hyuna and Mizi nor the rest of the rebellion will get to Ivan in time before he bleeds out. Can I tell you about my Oc for Alien Stage? This idea, kinda has been done before. Especially with the original Macross Anime. But hear me out though . What if the male character I'm making who loves Ivan back , is half Alien and half human . But he was exiled from society . I know this is a mess but it's a draft idea so far . We haven't seen half human, half alien characters in Alien Stage. And I think it would be interesting. I haven't decided how Ivan and my Oc will meet yet. But I want Ivan to have a guy who loves him too. I think Ivan will teach my Oc what it means to be human . I was a bit inspired by the original Macross Anime and it's movie Do You Remember Love? And Gunslinger Girl / Violet Evergarden for making my Oc. I named him Noah . What do you think? 👀

The tragic thing for me was seeing how far Ivan has gone to keep Till safe. He literally disguised himself as a security guard to get Till out of that bar. I can only imagine the other things he’s done. I believe that’s the whole reason why he became the fan favorite. He knew being loved by the aliens would give him more freedom to protect and keep Till alive. As the favorite, he had to go through horrifying things but it was all worth it if it meant Till was still there. Truly, Ivan is the best character for me.

ivans love for till is to a point that it's an obsession. like he desires to consume and control every aspect of till which he can't do because he knows till won't be him if his not a firey soul with anger fighting back always(edit: someone in the comments wrote that till is like the night sky filled with shooting stars in Ivan's eyes and that's actually the most accurate way to discribe how Ivan truly wants to hold tills spark in his hands). ivans obsession scares me but at the same time i can see the reason as his had nothing to hold dear to his heart and wasn't shown any love, since it looks like he was abused by the alien master. so his way of being fixated on till is his affection and deep profound self sacrificing cruel and sad love.

3:45 - 3:48 okay, i know alot of people love (hate) this part but i have a theory (not really relevant to the story but more so relevant to the characters? Idk) so, in this moment, we see both a close up to Tills eye and Ivans eye. Theres also a split second where we see Till from Ivan's pov as he falls, the main focus of this shot is his eyes. This scene, i think, is showcasing just how badly Ivan wanted Till to look at him. Even throughout the memories we see in this video, Till only really looks at him once or twice - when they fight, and when they try to escape.
This moment is significant to Ivan because Till isnt looking around him to see Mizi, and isnt actively trying to seek her out, when Ivan is right in front of him. Instead, there is just the two of them, on that blank expansive stage, and even then (idk if this was purposeful because it could just be lighting which it probably is) the audience seems to disappear and sink into darkness, leaving Ivan to bare his feelings and Till alone, with nothing and no one to allow him to process whats happened. This sort of sneaky way of hiding all else could be a way to cement that despite what Till thinks, its really only ever been him and Ivan together.
Anyway, back to the eye thing, Ivan keeps his gaze trained on Tills eyes because he knows that hes finally being looked at after so many years, even moments before his death (IVAN IS NOT DEAD!!!! trust ❤😋) he relishes in the idea that Till isnt looking for Mizi in these fleeting moments, but is trying to read Ivan and keeps his gaze on him, and no one else. Further on, even though this is probably for dramatic effect, when the lights on stage flicker off, it could be a metaphor for Tills ignorance toward Ivan. Till has been ignorant toward Ivans feelings for years upon years, with blinding lights in his eyes (this could be his preoccupation with Mizi or just his general preoccupation with his rage and hatred for the world) and when these lights finally flick off, ironically, he is able to see clearly. He blinks spots out of his eyes and realises; Ivan has been there all his life and now he is never coming back (BUT HE WILL, TRUST) And all this time Mizi has never really noticed him at all. He realises he now has no one, when if hed been less oblivious, he couldve seen all he had around him: Ivan.
But anyway thats just my theory 😋 THIS EPISODE IS MY ROMAN EMPIRE RAAHHHH

I think the two shots were warning shots. As if they were trying to warn Ivan that the next shot would be fatal. This is how aliens may show love for Ivan, because he was given a chance to live.

NO CAUSE IT MADE ME FEEL SO LIKE STRESS OUT LIKE WHEN I HEARD TILL SING THE FIRST TIME
Like this was a major jump from his original song, disobeying in like every conceivable manner like he sang the whole part without letting the other guy sing, he killed the guitar alien all with a smirk and passion on his face. He sang with more passion and intensity in his voice and the majority was in English (I don’t think that’s really apart of it I just find it neat). However now he’s quite the opposite. He is singing like how Alien stage is intended to be sung, the genre and tone of the song is completely different than the previous song. While his voice is still really good it lacks the same spark the original song has since it was a huge shift. I know a lot of people point out how Till dresses like if he was going to a funeral and Ivan to wedding.
But I also want to point out how different their wardrobes are from the original songs.
In Round 2 till was wearing a white loose t-shirt with [not too] loose pants. He also had no shoes which again I feel was meant to show his rebellious nature. Again his current appearance is the opposite a tucked in? (Could be wrong) black shirt that is now missing any design that the last one had. As well as the tight black pants, it’s more form-fitting like he has decided to con”form” with alien stage ever since mizi disappeared. While it’s obvious that he lost his spark and is going through grief and depression because of it the I like how the a simple black outfit can reflect that.
Now on to Ivan’s outfit. The most clear difference between his previous and current outfit is the color, from black to white. However there is more about his outfit is that it was constricted I am unsure on what exactly it is (belt?) however now In round 6 those restrictions are no longer seen on him. His current outfit is (recycling the same thing i said about till) except Ivan’s outfit is less form fitting, looser reflecting that he no has anything else to hide because he already knows he will die (he definitely had this planned out) it’s much asymmetrical and has more flow in comparison to his previous outfit.
I absolutely adore how Vivinos designs the characters and their outfits to reflect the state they’re in.
The pain to realize that ivan sacrifice himself for till so he can live happily bro i cant stop sobbing 😭🙏🏽
I don’t think everyone speculating that Ivan was saved by the resistance is really plausible, but I do think if Ivan were to survive it would be because his owner pulled some strings to save him. I know this might not make a lot of sense, but after looking back through Ivan’s round “black sorrow” I noticed that Ivan never had one of those collars that everyone else had. After rewatching this round I also noticed that Ivan seems to have a knack for getting into places he shouldn’t be, like the rooms till was locked in when he was younger and the room featured in this video (the pink room). Now, in my opinion this could mean two things 1) Ivan is really sneaky, which would make sense or 2) Ivan has special allowances into places because of how rich/famous/influential his owner is.
If this is the case, I could see how Ivan’s owner could have the ability to save him from his injuries, but that’s just a theory.
No matter what happens to Ivan I think it’s important to applaud the creators of Alien Stage. I hope they don’t change their story to better suit the wants of fans. ❤

2:59 The music in this entire scene is my absolute favorite part. The lack of vocals really puts the focus on what’s going on, the instrumental in general is so good, the drums, and the guitar _ohhhhh_ THE GUITAR, and _THAT_ tune (idk what to call it exactly) at 3:28 coming in once Ivan starts getting shot, as we see the absolute resolution on his face and his determination to die in Till’s place…it’s so cool. I prefer it much more than the “original” unedited duet version. Even though the other version’s also good, this is the version that’s been playing in my head on loop non-stop.
This is why visuals is important in music! And why music is important in visuals _especially_ in animation. The music and the scene wouldn’t have had as much impact (it literally caused alnst to trend on twitter and tumblr!) if they were stand-alones. They’re like clean-cut pieces created exactly to go together. I cannot hear the music without thinking of the scene and vice versa. I love Alien Stage.
Something that i realised is how Till says "Let me drown in you" (0:51) to Mizi because he loves and adore Mizi, but she isn't interested in him which makes him crave that love from her even more. He wants to drown in her love but he cant because her love wasnt meant for him, it was meant for Sua. Ivan on the other hand says "I'll drown in you" (2:20) indicating that he can and WILL drown in his love for Till. "Drowning" in this case implies that he'll lose himself the deeper he goes. So this means he'll willingly love Till, even if it means he will lose himself in the process.
OH YOU ARE VILE FOR POINTING THIS OUT. IM NEVER GONNA KNOW PEACEFUL REST EVER AGAIN AFTER THIS. (/pos thank u for giving me another thing to think about at night)

so i've been rewatching the rounds and i realized something. in round 5 when mizi starts beating the shit out of luka, the guards come and pull her off of him, wrangle her away, and only after all that just START to point a gun at her head. but because of all that, the resistance had time to come in and save her.
so when ivan started doing the same thing, they began shooting him down immediately. because if they didn't, it would give the resistance time to come in and save him, and they don't want that to happen again.
that's why none of the guards approached. they would rather kill him quickly than give opportunity for saving 😭

The drawing of expression and emotion is captured so well, when Ivan realizes Till is giving up and immediatly goes to save him, when he’s choking him and you can see a little conflict on his face meanwhile till looks confused but it really shows when till just gives up and closes his eyes with no resistance and the look on Ivan’s face when that happens, his eyes, its so fing sad ☹️

There's something truly sad about how Till tries to push Ivan away when he kisses him, but just goes limp when Ivan starts choking him. For a character that's always seen fighting back, when his best friend seemingly tried to kill him, he just accepted it. I think Till went into this competition with the expectation that he would lose, maybe even hoping he would lose since now the only thing that made life worth it to him (Mizi) was gone. Then, his realization of what Ivan did, the fact that Ivan must've felt for him what he felt towards Mizi - that Till dying would've made life pointless for Ivan...

Can we talk about how Till's final score is 89 and in Round 3, when Ivan wasn't self-sabotaging, his was 90? One point difference. Again. The parallels to Mizi and Sua are endless. What I noticed, what I understood and how I interpreted this.
1.- In the first seconds of this round we hear the beatings of a heart while we watch different moments of Tills life and the experiments that he has endured, almost like he is watching his life pass in front of his eyes. He expects to die at the end of this round and when his actual face is revealed it shows how everything he has gone through is finally taking a toll on him (of course this happens after his reason to live is no where to be found, without Mizi he doesn’t see a reason to move forward).
2.- When he starts singing and the picture behind him shows we can notice the differences between his personality now and how it was back when mizi was “alive”, he is clearly boring the audience as they all look at him with an unimpressed gaze (also, he is competing against a fan favorite). And the phrase “ I don’t want to let you go” makes reference to mizi. Every single line he sings and almost every memory makes reference to her and to her death, Till genuinely thinks he is dead without her.
3.-Then we get the first and only memory of Ivan. From Till’s perspective we get that both of them got into a fight when they were kids and the gaze that Ivan used to look at Till is rather…. Sadistic Unbothered?. I think this is the perception that Till has of Ivan, he isn’t able to read him and therefore has always thought Ivan was annoying him for the fun of it. This scene shifts to a memory of Ivan, as he finds Till knocked out in the karaoke bar.
4.- It’s clear to see the parallel between both memories, the only thing that makes a difference is the way that Ivan looks at Till, his eyes are sparkling, as he is looking at his beloved.
5.- This parallel between scenes shows us that Till doesn’t actually know about Ivan’s feeling for him and that he has always interpreted them as hatred or dismissive, in the other hand, Ivan actually looks at Till lovingly in every memory of himself, he even has the permission to take of the collar of Till. (I don’t think every human can take off the collar of everyone else, but Ivan CAN. This makes me wonder if he is the one who usually saves till and takes care of him, to the point that the guardians have ALLOWED him to do so).
6.-Ivan lyrics also makes reference to Till in every moment. “Even if your cold words carve scars beneath my eyes…” this clearly makes reference to the way Till treats Ivan (which I assume is not pleasant, as Till is almost unaware of his existence). For example: In a community post we see Till complaining about Ivan wishing he would go away, he thinks that Ivan’s presence is making Mizi go away. Ivan just states that Mizi never plays with him, the one that does so is Ivan.
7.- Is almost as if Mizi takes the place of Ivan in every memory of Till, that’s the level of obsession Till has of Mizi.
8.- I wouldn’t be surprised if Ivan was constantly devastated from the things Tills says. This lack of acknowledgement forces Ivan to do drastic things like getting in a physical fight with Till and sadly this is the ONLY memory Till has of Ivan (paragraph 3) so this drastic measures actually work.
9.- The next scene reflects what actually Ivan wants to be noticed, the looks of affection he gives, the gentleness. Nonetheless, the only thing that gets a reacting from Till are the things Ivan doesn’t like (dramatic gestures). And I think Ivan doesn’t really like the grand gestures because of his judgment of Sua and her decision to die for Mizi. (The ultimate sacrifice just for the sake of being remembered).
10.- I want to make another point, in round 3 we can see a flash back of a red flower crown flying past Ivan and Till going after it. I think what happened is that Mizi made this flower crown for Sua, the flower crown flew away and till wanted to get it back for Mizi (who wanted it for Sua) Mizi and Till go into the home of an alien flower (also shown in the memories) and the flower eats this flower crown, making Till try and fight with the alien plant to get it back for Mizi, Till ends up getting hurt and Ivan just watches from the back. (This is what I can deduce with round 3 flashbacks). In this round we see another flashback of that same day (maybe) where Ivan is watching the plant form the back and one where he is touching its teeth, I think either Ivan calmed down the plant or he managed to get the flower crown from its mouth without getting hurt, whatever happened it culminated on Ivan getting Tills wound treated (Mizi probably fled the scene or trusted Ivan to take care of Tills, as they were close friends even if Tills doesn’t seem to recall that).
11.- Then Ivan is seen caressing Tills wounded face in a hospital and finally Tills running away from their attempted escape. This is even more devastating as we can now interpret their escape as Ivan’s way of saving Till for the millionth time, expecting to be saved at the same time, expecting Till to be grateful and running away with him because maybe, just maybe, Till will care enough about both of them to move forward and finally acknowledge the sacrifices Ivan constantly makes for him, but alas, Till runs away and decides their fate.
12.- We see a glimpse of real life Till being depressed as Ivan pours his heart out in the chorus. “In your gaze where I’m seen…” he doesn’t even look at Ivan in the memories nor in real life. Till cannot see the suffering in Ivan, and Ivan just sees the suffering of Till. Ivan was never seen, every glimpse of his memory he longs for the gaze of Till, but he never acquires it.
13.- “Face to face we dance…” Ivan keeps looking at Till, trying to make it about them. “With our story…” Till looks in front of him thinking about Mizi. He stops singing and Ivan directly starts his plan. Even when he KNOWS Ivan is heading towards him, Till is not bothered to look at him. 3:04. Until he has to.
14.- And for the first time the roles change, The one with sparking eyes is Till and Ivan just looks at him without anything. The first kiss they shared and Till is still unable to read Ivan. For him, this came out of nowhere 3:15. His surprise changes to alert when Ivan grabs him by the throat. Ivan isn’t even hurting him.
15.- Ivan is concerned for the lack of resistance that Till shows, Ivan has fell in love with the resilience and defiance of Tills personality and now it’s nowhere to be found. The numbers change and Ivan’s plan works, he starts being killed for the “aggression” he is committing. Even when he is dying, till is not looking at him. Finally he lets go, as he ensures his loved one will survive. And as he falls his last picture is Till finally looking at him. Ivan smiles as a last goodbye, the smile is enough to make Till understand everything he hadn’t noticed before.
There is no people, no Mizi, no aliens, no cameras and no microphones. It’s only Ivan, as the spotlight focuses on them, Till realizes he has lost the only thing that was constant, the reason he has actually managed to survive this long.
Meanwhile, Ivan is now the thing he despised, he has done this last grand gesture to make Till look at him (paragraph 9). He has died in what he longed all along. Maybe it was never meant to be.

idk why but it feels like Till kinda knew about Ivan's feelings about him or like had an inkling about them but chose to ignore them and not acknowledge that fact like he was fooling himself. Because you can see in one of the flashbacks, when they were eating and Ivan came to sit beside Till while his cheek was bleeding, he kinda looks at him like endearingly and you can see Till briefly look at him and then turn his eyes away after that ivan licks the blood.

You know, if you compared Ivan's performance in black swan to here, Ivan sang less emotionally here. What I theorised was that the more emotions you put in your singing, the higher points you will get. Cause if you were to hear closely when till was singing, when he thought of sua his voice got raspier. Ivan's voice was similarly like that in black Swan when he started thinking of till. Ivan wanted to throw the entire performance all along by singing more monotonously. Then at the end, till gave up, like what you pointed out. Ivan doubled down and did the choking act, but probably kissed him first because fuck it all right?

One month in....seven years worth of pain
What’s so heartbreaking about Ivan strangling Till to save him, is the symbol of Ivan taking off Till’s collar that has shown up so many times throughout the series. In their backstory, we see Ivan taking off Till’s restraints on multiple occasions, especially the collar over his mouth. He does it back in Ankat Garden when they make their escape attempt, and he’s shown doing it in the flashback in this episode as well. While the aliens want to stifle Till’s chaotic and rebellious nature, Ivan loves that part about Till, and he wants to free him from his bindings, no matter how loud and violent he can sometimes be. But, when Mitzi disappeared, Till lost his rebellious spirit. As he sings during this round he looks defeated, hopeless, with no fight left to give. Ivan can’t stand for that. He has to help Till get his spirit back, no matter the cost. By Ivan’s final act being strangling Till, what he’s really doing is taking of his collar. He reaches for Till’s neck, for the hundredth time, for the last time, intent, as always, to free Till from the aliens. And when his hands fall away, Till is free -free from the fate that awaited him, and maybe, just maybe, with Ivan’s death, Till can regain his rebellious spirit again.

I rewatched the song several times… To be honest, this is the first story that drove me into serious depression. I lost 5 kg in a week, I just couldn’t get food down my throat. I should probably send Vivinos my hospital bills.
As for the further plot... I assume that Till needs at least some motivation to participate. Now he has nothing left, and he does not need victory in this competition, fame or money. The aliens have nothing to offer him.
So I see only two ways: They need to catch Mizi and blackmail him with her life or they need to save Ivan and keep him in a coma, promising healing if Till wins.
I like the second version. Because Mizi is not a match for Till at all, all her love was for Sua, and all even after this she was having fun with rebellions, there was no Till in her mind.
what scares me the most: the authors wrote, that the heroes must overcome themselves with the death of their loved/friends. But no. If Till remains without a person who really cares, there will simply be one black hole left instead of soul.

I gotta get this off my chest. It's about my interpretation of Till's feelings. I was having a hard time understanding why Till loves Mizi so much, like I don't think there was ever a scene where it "hits" me like "oh so that's why Till likes Mizi". In comparison to MiziSua (Round 1 and the Mizisua extra where they first met and formed a connection, and Mizi associate Sua with God), or in Ivan's POV (he became impressed by Till standing up to the monster, and associate Till with the beautiful meteor shower he saw when he was little). In round 2 of Till's POV it started with him seeing Mizi and Sua together, and most of his first memories of Mizi has Sua in it. There was not a highlight moment between him and Mizi, nor was there any moment comparable to Mizi and Sua's encounter, or Ivan's POV of Till. That got me thinking that maybe, just maybe, Till didn't love Mizi, but love how she looked being in love? A lot of his memories about her in round 2 were her being with Sua, while Till was only observing, and wishing to know more about her (as his lyrics said). I suspect that he wanted to be loved like that love she had (maybe he thought that if it was her, she could give him that kind of love). This is just my speculation though. If it was true, it would be devastating now that he knew Ivan loved him, yet he'd never once looked back that Ivan.

Something I noticed about Ivan is that I feel like, whenever Till looked like he was feeling down or looked like he was on the verge of giving up, Ivan would do things to purposefully grate on tills nerve in order to get him to fight. I think he did that because he fell in love with Till and his fighting spirit and never wanted to see it die out. I feel like it's also part of the reason why he kissed Till during the competition as well. Because of Mizi being gone, he looked like he was on the verge of giving up and Ivan didn't want that. Granted I'm just speculating, but it feels like a common theme.

(0:00-1:40) Based on what the video has shown i finallywant to say this: Till says "let me drown in you" while Ivan says "I'll drown in you". Till was talking about how he craves for Mizi's love and wants her to love him although he thinks she is dead. Ivan is talking about the same thing as Till but he wants Till to basically see his love for him. Every time single time Ivan finds Till with that damn collar on and takes it off of him only for Till to ignore him/still stay asleep (Ex: 1:36) its sad.
(2:56-4:48) It wasn't Ivan who stopped singing. It was Till, Ivan notices this and almost immediately helps/saves him. Till pushes away from the kiss right? Ivan keeps on kissing him and at 3:12 Till's eyes soften like he gives in and lets Ivan kiss him also at 3:16 Till looks suprised so thats probably how you know he gave in. You notice how there are no choke marks on Till? Ivan never meant to hurt him (you probably know this alr). While the alien thiga magigers shoot him the bullets go in his body not beside his body. 3:49 hes suprised. He finally realizes his feelings and just stands there. Mizi and Till lose their lovers in black, they die in white...God, I'm crying...

I love how much Alien Stage reflects a lot of cheesy TV tropes like the love... circle? Triangle? Where everyone likes everyone but never back thing. But instead of playing it for a joke or something silly, it's written in a way that breaks your heart into a million pieces because the contestants' love is the one thing they got to choose for themselves.

I didn't even notice that Til stopped singing until I listened to the official video from Studio LICO. In this video you can hear him sing in the audio but if you watch his lips he stopped. That's why Ivan acted when he did, otherwise Til would have lost then and there.

I know people keep saying we don't see any trace of Ivan in Till's eyes until it was already too late, but I think it's more tragic to point out that we do see Till 'see' Ivan during his section. When they were kids, when Ivan had no light in his eyes. So, I think it'a more appropriate to say that the end was more like the first time Till ever saw the light in Ivan's eyes and been able realize that that light had always been for him.

Because of the rain and the loud music and the fact that he closed his eyes, I don’t think Till knew that at that very moment Ivan was being shot. He has already accepted that Ivan was gonna kill him. And it’s not until the very last moment, when Ivan’s grip loosens which urges him to open his eyes, that Till sees Ivan is dying.
It’s also the first (and the last) time that Ivan showed tenderness, one that’s not done in secret, both in his actions and expression towards Till. And it’s only when the violence stops and the hidden tenderness comes out amidst all the hurt that Till finally takes a glance to what was already in front of him, to see that Ivan was protecting him, to see that Ivan loved him all along. But it was too late then.
In the end, the one way Ivan learned how to get Till’s attention (through violence) was their downfall. It was Mizi’s gentle and kind nature that drew Till towards her, even though that gentle and kind nature was directed towards Sua. If Ivan had shown that same gentleness and care towards Till right from the start instead of only ever doing it in secret, then maybe Till would’ve looked at him soon enough.
But I think a part of Ivan didn’t want for Till to do that, no matter how much he yearned for it, because he knew that it would’ve just hurt Till the same way Sua’s death hurt Mizi.

I don’t think ivan’s being gentle would’ve changed anything. We can see scenes where ivan is being nice to till (them sitting under the tree), but Till doesn’t pay much attention to him, the only time till looks ivan in the eyes is through violence. This can also be seen in lyrics like “Notice my pain” and “in your gaze where I am seen”. WHICH MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE HEARTBREAKING

The way that the only times Till's eyes regain their light is when Ivan is being gentle with him: when he puts his hand on his cheek, when there's that moment of silence between his kisses, and when he let's go of Till's neck and Till understands he never meant to hurt him AUGHH
When you realise the shine in Ivan's eyes was gone when he was choking and kissing Till, but it came back when he saw Till's score go up and at the end when he knew that Till was gonna live and go to the next round

Girl I have a 20 document of Alien Stage being break down and it’s not only love (personally) is how each “couple” is being perceived as a savior of a god, and how this is a reflection of freedom (savior) and god (faith). Like for Mizi, Sua was her faith or universe and for Sua,Mizi was her freedom, both cannot exist in Alien Stage bcs they can’t have either a faith or freedom so one most be sacrifice, and so the same with Till and Ivan. In Ivan’s view Till was his faith (god), but for Till he was always fixated to look into Mizi that he never corresponded to that love freedom Ivan needed, so Ivan at the end sacrificed himself just like Sua, but unlike Sua sacrifice, it wasn’t only meant to completely destroy Mizi, but to give faith to Till that was close to give up. (I might be wrong but let me be delusional. 😭)

I Don't Know If Anyone Noticed This (Probably Not Because I Haven't Seen Anyone Talk About This), But When Ivan Rescued Till From The Bar Before Round 6 (Where He Nuzzles Him), You Can See For A Split Second That Till's Eyes Are Actually Slightly Open, Albeit Drugged. I Think He Was At Least Semi-conscious That Time, And While He Might've Not Directly Seen, He Must've At Least Had An Idea Or Something That Ivan Saved Him.
I Also Theorize That Till May Be Actually Aware Of Ivan's Feelings For Him, But He Likes Mizi Too Much To Care. And He Doesn't Actively Ignore Ivan, They Are At Least Friends, Considering He Tolerates Him Being Near Till.
