Let me clarify some things 1. No this was not inspired by II I haven't even watched II It was just a happy coincidence 2. Golf ball, Match and spongy being said to be really old aside from being a joke can just be explained away by the memory change thing 3. The bakery being said to be operated all the way back in 1338 just means that the takeover was just REALLY far back in time 4.The characters going back to the comics is just really annoying in my opinion as it really messes with the lore like Pencil won that season but why dont we see any signs of it also if we go by my thinking of the speaker boxes basing the characters off the comics. Then Tax return document being able to completely change the main character makes sense

Haha very funny seriously this joke is getting old even though this is a cool moment in the show but you can't just do that every time it's going to get old real quick
OMG! This explains what the thing attacking golfball in her memory in Idfb. In bfdia 15 it’s proven that golfball js over 10 thousand years old, so it would explain why she remembered the speakerboxes attacking her. Also in bfdia 13 it’s proven that title city was inhabited 600 years ago, based on the shop scene.
This is a pretty good theory. I always thought that there was some natural disaster and that was the reason for yole city’s evacuation. But the aliens being the reason makes more sense
Makes me think of a Theory : I just think the objects are a species that evolved into different objects to adapt to different areas in goiky like firey is an object who adapted by turning the skin into flames to survive a volcano, teardrop adapted to a teardrop to survive in the ocean, Etc
Here’s what I think happened. The Speaker Boxes went to Goiky to experiment on the objects. The object race was an endangered species due to all the other dangers, but they managed to survive and create Yoyle City. There they made scientific breakthroughs which helped them beat the other dangers roaming around. One of their key aspects is their competitive nature, always wanting to battle for prizes. Not only that, but the nearby Yoylites proved a great hazard, as the objects are kind of dumb and don’t know how to use it. Because of this the Speaker boxes invaded Goiky, kidnapping objects and exploiting their power, which caused 75% of the Yoyle City Citizens to disappear. Announcer decided to kidnap some objects in south goiky and start an experiment disguised as a reality show. He sketched it out in paper before actually going there. The campaign wasn’t successful, but due to Leafy’s funding they were able to make a second season. During BFDIA 1, Evil Leafy escaped the TLC and killed the survivors of Yoyle City. After this there were only about 300 or less objects left. Most of them fled the city to South Goiky, which is why we see a lot of recommended objects in later BFDIA episodes. The main cast moved to Yoyle City in IDFB, and at this point it was truly abandoned. After the “success” of BFDI and BFDIA, multiple speaker boxes and other species would try to have a go at this experiment, as the objects were there for billions of years and have more secrets that weren’t discovered. This resulted in BFDI Mini, ABCDEFG, TWOW, EWOW and more. With the abundance of recovery centers, they could recover the dead objects and wipe their memories.
*You have a point and plus word "Yoyle land" come's from the mineral called yoylelite because in bfdia 17 shows that Yoyle land has a lot of yoylelites*
interesting theory but you forgot to address the fact that Golf Ball is supposedly a billion or so years old, and she lived in Yoyle city, as seen in IDFB
3:17 You didn't focus on the important part. "We're glad you managed to recover the funds we've lost during this campaign" He managed to RECOVER THE FUNDS they've lost. Leafy speaker box is talking about how leafy buying dream island helped pay for their budget. Maybe HOSTING was their campaign.
One thing that kind of contradicts this theory a little is TFI, in TPOT 15, Total Firey Island is not only canon but it's also the very start of the entire BFDI timeline, only problem is that the characters from the present actually interacted with the TFI characters, meaning that before everyone became animated, they were comics? But it also contradicts Itself because on the same episode, these comics exists as not only the past but also as actual comics?? They even have the same artstyle, when taggy finds where did income return tax document hid firey while reading through the comic, you can see that appears in the comic IRTD still has his modern asset, so...the past is a comic but the comic is the past??? WHAT?? Even snowball comments on how it has been a while since TFI , meaning that the characters remember, so, maybe the characters somehow left the comics and became real people? Which kinda explains why eraser doesn't ask who the announcer is when he first appears but it's really confusing, the only thing that doesn't make sense is the fact that pen, pin, leafy and needle exist, like, where did those 4 come from? They never appeared in TFI so how were they just there???? TPOT 15 really contradicted not only this theory but the entire BFDI timeline
well bfdi is also a real show in that world so i dont think tfi being real comics is much of a conundrum, plus theres that whole thing with the animation quality degrading in bfb 29
I think just like how the animation quality improves over time (specifically when showing purposefully recorded moments of BFDI), TFI is the only, and therefore official recorded material of the season, most likely drawn by Firey himself. That means it was an actual competition in a 3D, physical space like BFDI, but shown as a comic because that’s how it was recorded and published. Also finally someone else that mentions how TFI is canon because no one questions the speaker box in BFDI 1a
Random theory I came up with: Pen's legal name was originally Ben what if the objects have human names but are using nicknames, last names, or their parents or whoever name them hated them and called them based on their object.
I have a theory: In this theory, we don’t need any of the creatures that appeared in BFDI (except objects) So, if the objects left yoylecity as we know, that means that something or someone made them leave. In the video, it’s SOMEONE who made them leave (the speaker boxes) but in this theory it’s something AND someone. Did you realize that yoyleland is the only place in the OSC universe to ever be purple? And who or what made yoyleland purple? Not the announcers, not even Davidians, or dragons (because their purple is light purple, but yoyleland is more of a dark purple), or fish monsters and the objects wouldn’t ruin their own creation, that leads us with bugs, which are too small to make the city any purple, but not an ASSAULT OF BUGS (purple bugs) . What am I saying is that before the assault of bugs yoyleland was green but the yoylecity residents needed to fight the bugs, leaving the purple bug liquid thing every, so the city probably got abandoned for this. So with the liquid being not touched for years, it became part of the ground, turning the long lost city into the form we all know and love
I think when yellow face said when he is advertising the revamped headset he said "we also include the virus that has caused the deaths of-" i think the virus killed the yoyle city people or whatever
6:28 the problem with this is that the announcer was confirmed to be no longer involved with bfdia after bfdia 5 and didnt even know that it wasnt over
gave me a theory...well more like headcanon speakerboxes are organic beings that just control or are the boxes (being the boxes makes kinda more sense because who would be controlling the built ones but the headcanon I made doesn't itself)
The UFO's are not shown to attack anything, they might just be the Speakerboxe's helping the objects escape or trying to escape, or the objects themselves, or something else...
"campaign unsuccesfull" prob ment that the speaker boxes sent annoucer to kill the goiky people by making them join a competition and then killing them in form a impossible challenge or something and when the other speaker boxes came they saw that annoucer failed his "mission" and just left like nothing happened.
