I had knee replacement surgery on my right knee, September 28, 2022. I am seeing a physical therapist once a month. My husband assists me with a daily routine of exercises. He consistently massages my knee with various oils. The stiffness returns after these efforts, impacting my mobility. I'm just joining the group. I pray you can help me. I get frustrated, but push on. Some pain and soreness remains after 4 months, but the stiffness/scar tissue at times feels unbearable.
Had a TKR on 2/18/20 I'm doing well in my outpatient therapy but I'm at stand still on my flexion motion. Just watch you video on using the wedge pillow. Just completed the first five minutes. Believe this is going to help me and I just need to do more of my at home exercises. Learning a lot from your videos!
Hi. I am at a loss and so depressed. I was injured and when I went to the hospital. They found Cancer and with the injury and cancer I've had to have both knees both shoulders and 1 hip replaced. Still waiting on shoulders. I don't have a support group.
I have metal allergies need a replacement because my leg is bowing . I also have alpha gal syndrome. My dr. Gave me a coin shape titanium to tape on I didn't have a reaction but I don't feel that proves you won't. Make up supplements with titanium dioxide gives me a reaction. So I feel that is a test that couldn't say you won't have a reaction to titanium. Also allergic to nickel
I had a right TKR on 4/20, so I am 7 weeks, 2 days post-op today. I had a setback last weekend because I didn't take care of myself. I did not ice nor elevate for an entire day. When I sat down, my feet were on the floor. By bedtime I had the worst pain so far, including surgery day and the week or two following. But at PT yesterday, my flexion measured the same as before, and my strength was still good. I am learning a ton by listening to you. A question: There is an ortho surgeon on TH-cam who says that if you have not attained 120 degrees of flexion by 6 weeks post-op, you should consider an MUA right away. He says the scar tissue buildup during healing starts to impede further gains. What's your take?

I would love to talk to someone who had a replacement surgery
Is this channel still active, please? Is it possible to ask guidance/questions? ( pre-op, for me)
Hello , 4 weeks post op and some days are better than others . Any tips on scar tissue apart from the obvious massage ?
Certainly massage is great. I have some videos on here about cupping over the incision. I also love kneeling if you are allowed.
