I saw Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer in the early 70's but I never had such a personal rock and roll concert experience such as this one. Wow fantastic!! I've known about you (Edgar) and Johnny for the majority of my 65 years, from Beaumont's Birdsong's. So I couldn't wait to be able to see you in concert! And I'm so glad that I did!! A belated happy birthday to you Edgar Winter 🎂🎉 You are a true Rock and Roller!! 🎹 🎷 🥁 !!
That said Edgar that’s the band! That’s the best you had since road work. You’re as good as ever if not better and those are the boys that know how to rock. Please do at least the last few cuts of road work with this band excellent excellent excellent
I got to see the Winters brothers at the San Diego Sports Arena in the early 70's.
Edgar with Rick Derringer ROCKED the first set, then Johnny's band KICKED ASS. Both bands came out together for a third set and THE WALLS CAME TUMBL'N DOWN BABY!!!

one of the first big arena concerts I saw in the mid 70's was Ted Nugent/Aerosmith and Headliner Edgar Winter w/ Rick Derringer & Dan Hartman

The White Trash album is still about my favorite album,I hate that it didn't realize a better commercial standing.Big Bro Johnny is about the only one who could but heads with Hendrix and from a technical standpoint Johnny woops him.
They play with a backing track. Keyboard sounds while Edgar isn't playing keyboards onstage.
The KORG is programmable. It'll repeat chords at the touch of a button. My ancient Wurli synth will do that.
drummer antonio is doing way better now, on ramirez' specialty, turn on your lovelight by bobby bland..pretty cool
Love my EW as much as the next guy but have to be honest. Edgar doesn't to be so "showy" and "cheesy". The music does all the talking. And Doug, you're killing it on the guitar but why that tone?
Dude,it's called personality.Other than their overwhelming talent the thing I like most about the Winter brothers is that they so enjoy what they are doing.Check out'Johnny and Edgar together again" and you can feel it.Some of the worlds most talented musicians doing the bar band thing and loving it.
Enjoy electric Piano Harry Rhodes the inventor and alto and tenor saxophone the jazz musicians. Like your robust vocal inflections. Like Astronomy the Chinese folklore of the stat clusters that form bridge of stars and Johannes Kepler music in the stars the planets rotation equates to music scales progression, the Armillary Sphere intersecting ring spheres. And with respect just one tune along and I'm missing Bobby Ramirez's simple and super funky drumming - this cat does not get it, very difficult to sing on top of and carry the tune. Edgar of course prevails.
