In this episode the FFS Run Club heads to Whinlatter ParkRun in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
This challenging 5k run course is notoriously difficult due to it being 100% trail & VERY hilly! With a average finish time of 32:32 don’t expect any PB’s here!

Love a parkrun
I have just recently ran at Great yarmarth which is supportably the hardest Parkrun in the uk all flat but on a beach. I ran it barefoot as well. I think you should try it barefoot if your up for the challenge I was the first ever person to run it barefoot and I still finished 12th two weeks before my 60th birthday. Loving your videos

It's currently using a temporary course ( tree felling) the temp course is harder still, with over 170ft more climbing and a mud uphill run to the finish. It's over 1:30 slower than the old course.
