    I very much enjoyed this video. Language-grading is one of the things that I anticipate being one of my personal stumbling blocks on my upcoming course - especially with the elementary-level learners. But I've learned some useful tips here that I will make sure I take with me into the practice sessions. Thanks!

    You are amazing! Such s pleasant voice too. Please keep it up. Im just starting to apply for celta online course due to covid, and was wondering if you could recommend particular providers?

    • @elttraining

      Hi Iskander- any centre that has Cambridge approval should be reasonably standard. Cambridge ensure all courses have an external assessor and all tutors have to do annual standardisations. I have a new free short course about applying for CELTA on ELT-Training.com that you might find helpful. Good luck with it :)

    Dear Dr. Joe
    Do u have Any thesis or website relevant to methods of English teaching?
    I don't really know how to write thesis, and I want to read some more thesis in order to write one for my project.

      @elttraining  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there- I’m not a Dr, I’m afraid! There are SO many resources out there but you need to narrow your focus, first. Your tutors should be able to help you (I assume that you’re on a course of some kind if you have to write a thesis). Good luck with it all

    Hello Jo, I am MA. Student and I want to write my thesis about teacher's talk but I'm afraid I won't get enough resources.

      Don’t worry about that- loads in the literature! Start with Steve Walsh from Newcastle Uni foe example

    if i dont use high level grammar in a class including my trainer there to score me , don't u think it ll be a negative point somewhere

    • @jogakonga6495
      @jogakonga6495 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there - I think it's not so much about a 'high level' grammar point - what's important is something that's appropriate for the group that you're teaching. This might not be grammar, either - vocab and skills are also really important!
