I was excited to see the numerous Instant Pot yogurt videos until I checked mine out and found it didn’t have a yogurt setting. I checked out the videos and found this one. Thank you so much for the simple instructions using the sauté setting. I know not to use homogenized milk and I love Chobani Whole Milk yogurt, but the price is becoming a factor these days. So the next step is make my own.
I don't think there's any advantage to using the instapot (when it doesn't have a "yogurt" function). I do these same steps in a regular pan. Obviously if you prefer using the IP, go for it. But I just throw my milk in a thermal container for the fermenting step. Or a jar in a thermal bag, etc.
BEST YOGURT RECIPE EVER!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this amazing video!!! I tried March 25, 2024. It was delicious!! My kiddos LOVED IT!!! They are going to be making it themselves!!!❤❤❤🎉
Try making yogurt with warm milk, you will see how runny and gooey it turns out. Yea gallon milk is already pasteurized but making it hot and then cooling to certain temperature sets the yogurt better
Do you set the sautee temp at low, medium or high? You didn't specify and I was unable to determine from the buttons as the camera waved around. I'm new to IP, so thanks much for the video!
@@noelbecker7002 I just watched this video I think it's set on Normal. So saute button and then press adjust button till the light goes on normal. I want to try this also. My IP doesn't have a yogurt button.
GEEZ! "I can't hear you" "Your kid's a brat"...I wonder why she's not responding. Smh. This information was just what I needed to know. Ignore the keyboard wariors. Thank you!
Bless your heart! Do you have a channel that we can make rude comments on? Proud of this momma for showing folks how to make things while doing real work of childrearing. I had NO problem hearing her instructions.
Thank you, Rachel. I have the older InstantPot that doesn't have the yogurt setting 🙄
This video was great info 😊

Hi, how long does the diy yogurt stay fresh and safe in the fridge? 7 days? 14 days? 21 days? Thank u in advance if u can reply!😀
If your jars are sterile, 21 days for me. ';D
Thank you for this video. Sorry some people are rude in the comments!!
All the milk sold in the stores in the US IS ALREADY PASTEURIZED. That is the law. So, why do you need to boil it again?
Pretty much all the "milk" in the US isn't milk
Denature the proteins and make the yogurt set up better

I set my timer for 24 hours instead of 8 hours. I don't have to strain it. I never have more than a teaspoon of whey. ';D
Great video! Thank you for the tutorial! Trying this now. 😊
Do you use the whey? Maybe dehydrate?
Do I still wait the 8 hours for half of a gallon?! Thank you for this video 🙏🏻
Yes
so basically you leave IP off for 8 hours, no functions?
Do you have to strain it? Is that his Greek yogurt?
Huh that’s perfect. I don’t have Sous vide or yogurt button and really want to try this
is the sauté on high or low? Thanks
I think it was on normal (middle setting) in the video
Lol I’m a mom I didn’t even notice the kid heard u perfectly fine :) ❤
merci de ok 👌👌👌❤

Hello 👋👋👋👋 William
I put mine on high for 15 mins.
Barely could hear. I prefer to read the steps of making yogard, 1,2,3,4. Etc
Can't hear you!
Lovely when they don't respond to comments. I think she just wants to show her kitchen and bratty kid off.
What a gross comment.
