It was 244 and they have Reform to thank for most of them. Reform split the Tory vote and helped hand the election to Labour.

I think the stats clearly show that labour aren’t popular. It was simply a vote to punish the conservatives and it will prove to be a big mistake in time. I’m certainly not a conservative voter, they have run the uk into the ground but labour will definitely finish the job off. I voted for reform, obviously because I’m a massive racist, that’s the only possible reason for voting reform isn’t it? The thing is, I’m not racist, far from it. I’m just genuinely concerned about the level of mass immigration, both legal and illegal. It’s not sustainable and it’s not fair on the British people. But for some reason, saying this, makes someone racist by default. It’s sad, it really is.

It is good he apologised. If only he had realised much earlier when in power that the Conservative Party's policies and decisions were wrong. In Parliament, he took delight in sparring with the opposition and dismissing their views. There was no self reflection, no self-awareness.
