After being a loyal Goodyear Tires' customer, Discount Tire talked me out of ordering them for my F-150 and talked me into getting what they had in stock; BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO... Needless to say, best tires I've ever purchased, on-road, off-road, mud, gravel, soft dirt, they outperform any other tire I have ever purchased.
Same thing happened to me…
Soooo it can withstand a direct hit against a jagged rock at terminal velocity. But have gotten a blowout with same tire hitting a Chicago pothole doing 35 mph lmao

This is the best tire commercial I've ever seen
The last version of the BFG TA KO was an excellent tire, quietest highway manners, and the best A/T for the money.
For the record, my set of BFG TA KO survived 4 rolls in my Jeep TJ with a combined speed of 70 +/- MPH. Sheared off the 1.5" chromoly shaft on the back rear Solid Axle HP 60 from a Ford 9" bearing and flanges. That beats my MTRs durability and I like Goodyear's MTR too.
R.I.P. My jeep and my best A/T tire I ever owned.
Just have to get 35+" to get a viable tread depth for off pavement riding. The tread really opens up with better depth in the larger sizes as most manufacturers do.
The people that are hating need to stop. How about you go start your own tire company, somehow find the brain cells to manufacture tires, and try to get the public to notice so your sales increase. Good job BFGoodrich, I might purchase a set if I can find a local dealer at a good price.
When I drove my truck daily I regularly got 80-95k miles out of a set. This was on OLD All Terrains from the 1990's till now. Now It's retired I replace them every 6-8 years when they get too many cracks.

Notice one of the fine prints says multiple tires were dropped out of several different aircraft from various altitudes. So basically the tire put on the truck fell from a couple hundred feet the others were too badly damaged to show us.

I work construction all over the country and i put a lot of miles on my trucks. In one occasion i rolled over and totaled a 96 z71 i used to have, non of the tires got flat, i took the tires and installed them on the truck I bought after. 12 years after i totaled another 08 z71 when i slid on some black ice and hit the concrete diveder while i was going 70mph the tires survived the impact, sadly the truck was totaled too. Any ways bfg ko2 its all i used on my trucks and Michelin on my wife suburban.

Somewhere, in the American west, are two days worth of tires that they couldn't find/recover. I guarantee most of the tires landed on their side, it was just by luck that one clipped something just enough to tip it onto its tread.One more thought, I doubt any tire needs to drop 10,000 feet to reach terminal velocity.
Now if only my girlfriend was this rugged and reliable instead of high maintenance and damn useless.
anyone else notice the 3 second disclaimer that said "the tires were dropped from numerous different aircrafts at different altitudes." that also explains how no cameramen caught other cameramen in the video.

My country has a bad road net work due to pot holes , it covers 3835 km to reach Lusaka. I feel sorry for transporters. Tyres own out easily due to above reason. Give it a try to open an outlet here in Kawambwa.

In more seriousness i think ppl should drop these off of cranes or cliffs to do there own tests so we can see what actually is likely to happen.
