Thai is never think good on Cambodia since long time ago they always tell all foreigners that Cambodia is uncomfortable to visit and have lots of criminals
well, the Cambodian medias did that to the Thai's too.
That’s the ugliness in Thailand because every country has the same thing if you have the brain to think about it. Crime happen everywhere, bad and good people are everywhere in every country..

Your life reminds me of my own except I gew up very poor during the war then came the Khmer Rouge which I almost die. Now I live in the state so every time I go on vacation I try to help the local as much as I could. Well done Chris.

I am quadriplegic from a gun shot when someone tried to rob my car at a gas station 15 years ago and require 24 hour nursing care. If I try to work and earn more than $25k a year I lose everything and have no benefits. America incentivizing me to not work. Healthcare shouldn't be hung over my head. So I work to the limit and volunteer on boards of 3 nonprofits. Companies profiting on people not working, people in for-profit prisons and profits on these terrible foods they sell us just to name a few. Your videos are awesome and I hope these countries dont make the same mistakes as the US!

You should take a day trip out of Phnom Penh. A lunch trip to Nak Leung for lunch. Prawn dishes are out of the world. Nak Leung is the place for prawn.

Prahok Jen Jram ( ប្រហុក ចិញ្ច្រាំ ), it is made of Khmer salted moist anchovy with grounded pork. We eat it with lots of raw veggies. Prahok, however, is preserved salted fish, the smell is very intense. It is one of our main ingredients in making many Khmer dishes.

This is what I miss the most. We can’t find that in the states anymore without getting robs, beat up etc. especially in New York City.
Cambodia, at first glance, looks like paradise, but because of the great poverty, there is an undercurrent of crime and tourists getting ripped off. There is also human trafficking and taking advantage of young girls and boys by foreigners. Please keep eyes and ears open and be aware. The little ones will break your heart because they will overwhelm you if you give to some, but it’s impossible to help all who will ask, unfortunately. It’s sad to see the world generally becoming unsafe and unkind instead of becoming great, but you can always count on the beauty of places in every country to lift your spirits back up again!
