Y’all are the a team ! Bro the level of quality work y’all so over there compaired to here in south Florida it’s a crazy diffs man I mean I try like y’all to make my work perfect as humanly possible but most guys just do trash work n don’t show up all the time or on time n shit it’s nuts brother for real for real
you paid 480$ for a tow bar... im glad i learned how to weld and bought a decent machine, all mine cost about 30$ worth of steel and are built to overkill
I have a suggestion it'll save you a lot of time and time is money get yourself a burke bar it's the do all demo form board removal rebar Bender bar it'll make for shorter videos but you'll say time in labor just a suggestion look up some videos and get yourself one maybe even do a review on it
Congratulations to Nathan and Larisa for the Markit a and Warren for the Dewalt. I'm keen on the Dewalt and I'm very sad I didn't win but I hope y'all enjoy using them. I figured I wouldn't win. The day I saw your video I fixed my wife's old hair blow dryer and I started using that yesterday while making my breakfast bar out of maple flooring. Lots and lots of sanding so lots of dust to be blown away. Keep making awesome content Scott
that thick layer of "plaster" is a mortar bed used to isolate, level and crack resist the tile install. it was common back in the day: www.ceramictilefoundation.org/blog/ultimate-guide-to-underlayment-for-tile. today we use isolation membranes, or other means. love your videos, congrats on the now 20k+
That "plaster" as you call it is probably dry pack, otherwise known as mud set. It's a perfectly appropriate old school way method that typically has wire mesh in it.
Lol, I love that even TH-cam's Automated Closed Captions think he's saying "Dick" instead of "Deck." I thought it was just me at first. _"Water gets off it and that means that this level is different to the dick level now by but making a dick go all the way through you can make it all one level"_ -TH-cam Closed Captions
Love the video dude, even though I didn’t win the makita blower lol. You will like the kaizen foam dude, I just did a video on my Instagram on the foam inserts I did in the Milwaukee packouts, check it out when you get a chance. #paerausback
Scott! Dude, your videos have been my inspiration to film my daily work too! I’m in the construction industry too. I do carpentry work, jobsite maintenance, framing, finish work too. Pretty soon I’ll be posting my own footage, hopefully you’ll be able to see it one day and tell me what you think.
Sad to see expensive tropical hardwood going to waste like that. Cut down more old tropical old growth forests, yeej covid and global warming. Why not restore the deck? Take out some problem boards and refinish the top. The wear was only superficial.
Scott went into attack mode when he heard that alarm. Congrats on 10k btw well deserved 🇮🇪
😂 thanks man
Congrats to the winners! Well done on, as i type, 11k subs now Scott!!! Respect bro!

Every time he says “deck” 😂
Isha Aguilera Ah, the joys of adolescence. Long live "arrested development"!
Awesome work on the filming and editing, a pleasure to watch. The carpentry is just a bonus. Cheers from Sweden 🇸🇪👍
Sounds like your saying something else when you say deck in your accent to us English folk 😂
Who doesn't love a well done dicking every once in a while.
When you eñglander folks say deck it sounds like something else illegal to us kiwis
Haha love the videos tho regardless of a good dicking👍
LOL - just watching again mentally substituting deck for some other word ... and it ain't a pretty picture 😎
Go watch the vid „Schaeffers deck sealant“ on youtube, its exactly about what you are talking about ;)
Since when does one call the sand and cement bed that is on top of the porch boards plaster?
Crazy that those ferns grew so well under that deck.
Watching in 2021 - 238k subscribers now!
U mean 243k
You can use a free open source program called OBS - Open Broadcaster Software. More used for streaming but also records the screen too
How do you deal with the waste w over there? Do you need to be licensed at the local dump, or have you got alternative solutions?
The old decking would have made Great Wall cladding
I would love a video on how you find the NZ building consents process and if you find the councils easy to work with
Good future vid idea 👍
If you used the right kind of thinset you actually could put tile on wood.
How is your work truck so clean?
Save the rimu, build a table or bench for the deck

Big fan ! Watched all your videos !!
what car is this and why does it looks like it dumped into something
Where did you get a tow bar installed for 480?? Im assuming its cheap because van, but keen to check what a car would cost...
Yeah, wasn't too bad - supplied and installed, they come out to you as well. The company is 'Auckland Towbars' 👍
It’s the pink timbers ! Lol
I am pretty sure that I would have had some sort of debris container to put trash in if it was possible.
K**f I wanted that blower, oh well at least Paerau is back and likes his new saw.
Heartbroken
I know man - I hear you!🎻
Sorry guys! lol
Finally on my lunch break!! now to smash my lunch and watch the A Team! sup boys and congrats on the subs!

Yah! another kiwi channel that can to Colab videos on... ;-)
That's why you don't use kwila for a deck. They will all rot out like that. It's a shitty exterior timber.
subscribed.

Just subscribed to your channel. Been watching the videos for a while. Videos are cool and your workmanship looks amazing. Very inspiring.
