I’ve been in the industry for a year now and I must say you are literally the only person I’ve seen on the internet giving people accurate information.
Thank you my man I’ve been looking to get into trucking for about two years and every time I start I get defeated but man your channel has given me much knowledge and motivation to get going
I'm an expedite dispatcher and have been in the game a long time. I don't spend much time on here but just discovered you. This is great and REAL information my friend! Everything is spot on and exactly what I teach my carriers. Know your cost of doing business and where you need to be rate per mile to be profitable. Take the base hits right along with the home runs. Keep the wheels turning and in a good lane. Partial where you can. There's still money to make out here in the expedite game is just a tougher right now. If you've been around this industry long enough you'll know it's a rollercoaster. Peaks and valleys but no hill for climbers! Keep up the good work here man and keep spreading truth!
Do yourself a favor and find something more profitable. The margins are super thin. How you gonna get a truck? How much do you think your insurance is gonna cost? How long can you pay these bills without any work because no one will book with new authority? None of his numbers factored in fuel costs, hotels, fees for dispatch or factoring, tolls, ect. OTR blows. Buy the hype if you want but the industry is dog shit. I made more money doing uber. If your actually locked up you should have radar for bullshit by now
@@anthonycaruso5527 I don't promote anything negative and I noticed everything you said, it seems to me that you weren't putting the work in, why sleep in a hotel sleep in the truck, why hire a dispatcher, learn it on your own like I've done from a cell for the past 10+ years now, stop eating out make you some sandwiches and your right I do have a radar for BS feel me bc you just spoke a bunch of it, with that loser mentality.

Man I’m about to get my 1st box truck and I’m not sure outside of Amazon who pays same day or within a wk also it’s so much information out here it’s hard to decipher the real from the fake
Brother you should be good don't stress out just research Throughly everywhere regarding your craft. And when it comes to payment if you can't wait to get paid you can get paid same say or next day. There called Factoring companies and there are plenty ones out there you can research which one you like. They charge a small percentage anywhere from 2 percent to 5 percent per load. But bigg vic should be a good help on his channel or you can ask him or message him or you ask me what ever questions you got bro I can as well been in the box truck game as owner operator last 3 years and a driving locally since 2017.
Quick question , so lets say some one gets a contract can they still pick up loads off the load board? Lastly, if you have a new authority and your truck is paid off and you don’t want to drive so you get a driver, is it possible to still make a profit or would that be a dumb move ?
@@BiggVic appreciate it, one last thing can some one have a driver and still get a contract and have there driver pick up the loads ? Or do you have to be the one driving if you get a contract ?

@BiggVic do you have advice for hazmat loads
All I can tell you is that they pay well when I see them on DAT load board.
Whats the best used truck can i get without a cdl license?

Lastly, if you have a new authority and your truck is paid off and you don’t want to drive so you get a driver, is it possible to still make a profit or would that be a dumb move ?
For sure. Just as long as it doesn't interfere with contract.
