I can't lie, him seeing the knights as he goes berserk in his SSBA gave me a genuine smile and chills. I'm so glad GBVS is still going. 🧡

Just when i thought he reminds me of Seigfried from Soulcalibur he pulled off an attack akin to Nightmare, the resemblance between tge two is uncanny! AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!
Most Siegfrieds resemble each other since they are all based on the same original concept (Siegfried from Nibelungenlied).
And for the nightmare bit: he was also a Siegfried at some point after all xD
You should see Siegfried's outfit with the full helmet, glowing eyes and red horn like pieces on the armor.
Yeah, when I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a crossover and got so excited, but I'm not complaining about the outcome.
Word, makes sense to me, it’s cool to see and consider it’s a staple concept in the gaming landscape.

Same I was expecting slow/string swings with some hyper/super armor
For a fighting game character he's actually kinda slow, not Vaseraga-slow but he looks kinda like a methodical rushdown character to me
Could be wrong though, he's not released yet
I think it’s partly cuz they didn’t wanna give him the “slow but huge reach” approach since they already did it with Percival.

Japan also uses german in their medic field. In Xenosaga, they used a lot of Nietsche quotes. Or fighting games like Ehrgeiz and Guilty Gear...
I was really disappointed in Genshin Impact cause the English VA's at least tried to pronounce the german words. But the Japanese didn't... bummer. Always wanted to hear the japanese pron. for Prinzessin der Verurteilung lol
Gratswords are easily my favorite kind of melee weapon in any form of media, but a lot of Percival's animations didn't sell it for me (at least, a lot of his normals are a bit weak looking, the specials are great). Getting another greatsword character like this that has cooler normals may be a insta-main for me.

His name is Siegfried, he wears blue, has a creepy looking sword, goes into a rage-mode… yup, this is literally just Soul Caliber. Not that I’m complaining, LET ME USE BIG SWORD.
A dragon themed great sword user… almost enough for me to buy the game. Kagura Mutsuki, Sol Badguy, I gotta stick with the tradition and play Siegfried if I get into this series.
He even fights like soul Siegfried!

I like how his sword looks a bit more like a bastard sword, rather than the usual greatsword sizes you see in fantasy and anime.
Kind of an underused category of weapon. Also just looks really cool.
I wonder if we’ll eventually get an alternative Siegfried where’s he’s completely unleashed similar to belial cuz of the end of this trailer showing him losing control and him telling gran to “remember why you fight” but he could of been talking to himself
Probably not, otherwise Blue Gran and Djeeta would be characters, too and Avatar Belial happened because the Arc Sys team really wanted to add in Avatar Belial and wasn’t as planned as the other characters were (which is why he and Vira shared a trailer.) Blue Gran and Djeeta are stronger/have more moves to chose from. There’s also Lumi-Vira, Grand Order, Install Soriz, and Boss Bubs who weren’t turned into separate characters either, which have unique forms or moves in comparison to Berserk Siegfried.
Arc Sys, I've said it since the first game, but if you add Black Knight as a character I will play this game nonstop.

OG game's single player compaign was really good and has quite the content, plus it got updated over time and you can play it in multiplayer with friends!
