Same here! I have about 500 hours in this game and this is the first time I have seen this which is just lucky that I caught this on recording. There are a couple other glitches that I could never ever reproduce and I wish I recorded them. One of them especially when a cuman surrenders to you and if you're placed a certain way the camera will fly off into the distance...like far far away. Then it will stop and give you a bunch of options like xdfhaf937e7r3.... x8rerejkdfljd.... just random stuff. And the one I clicked on gave a voice line of something I never heard before. I wish I recorded that, just so I know what I did to get that. It is a holy grail of gltiches for me. The blob was another blessing from KCD. @@helicalgoose There don't seem to be so many glitches on xbox (anymore), but I have fallen through the ground a few times and the camera angles when in a conversation are mad... I've put so many hours into this game too, (time played is 40 days or something!). Hope KCD2 wont be too far off, probably at least a year though... I desperately need something new to play!
Your editing and commentary is always hilarious. A good respite from my long work days. Thanks Helical. Sad I don't have a PC, it'd be a truly wonderful experience to play together at some point 🙏
I am glad you enjoyed :) This game on PC is not bad, and I am not certain how it is on consoles. But someday when you do get a PC it will be a fun experience!
I've got this on Playstation 4. The experience isn't the same. Some glitches don't work and the ones that do, the console doesn't handle them well, and starts identifying as a jet engine
Yah I have heard that some glitches do not work on PS4, but I was not certain of which ones. But if the PS4 starts chugging like a jet engine that means that it is prime time for beef jumping :P That glitch requires a little lag to get just right :)
Maybe. Just to put my research notes down, which might help you solve this mystery as well. All the people who were naked are people you can not kill. They did not re-generate their clothes except the bailiff and Sir Sebastian. (The assistant and the guard with the white armor I believe you can kill and they stay naked sort of?) The bailiff in the very start of the cut scene you can see him naked with his mace, but when he gets called up, they like you said most likely made a new copy. Sir Sebastian is a prime candidate for your idea. I purposely stole everything from him before talking to the inquisitor to make sure he was naked. And from watching him, he should not regenerated his clothes that quickly, otherwise he would be a prime person to farm non-stop for stolen fancy clothes! Everyone you can kill as a witness, they keep their clothes no matter what. Adele is strange because she is a fast respawner of clothes, but everyone else is sort of just normal and will be naked normally. Well this is just some observations I have had, what you say sounds about right, which is sad to say because I was hoping to screw up the entire church scene :(
Thanks :) Hopefully I keep getting better with the editing and not making things annoying. I know going overboard with editing is a thing, so just tell me if it goes a bit too nutty :P
lol when I got to this point in the game my stealthed out Henry just figured he'd kill the inquisitor and then break out Johanka. Nope, doesn't matter how stealthy Henry is, God knows.
lol God Knows! Yes it is quite frustrating, that no matter how stealthy you get, that guy can't be killed. Everyone else around him is fair game! (Except Johanka then the quest just ends). And I believe the Bailiff, priest, and the swordsmith's wife can't be killed. Everyone else... But God knows what you have done sums it up, just like the reputation system of this game.
I have never seen this glitch before it really surprised me. I am guessing it has to do with the graphics card perhaps? Don't know I am not a technical guy, just a guy with a mace and bad habit of button mashing till things stop moving :P
Oh there we go :) I never clicked on time stamps before and it worked! Yay. But that quick turn around from the NPC. I am guessing this was a cinematic shot that they recorded too long and the NPC just returned to original position? No idea. I have not seen something like that before either to be honest. Maybe the other DLCs will have that too.
Just stumbled over your videos while checking out who is playing through KCD, which happens to be my favourite RPG game ever! I knew there were a few bugs and glitches in it - hardly surprising for such a complex game - but your err... "non-standard" playthroughs certainly threw up some more! At first I thought that weird red spiky stuff running through Henry after the trial of Johanka was a banner or flag of some sort that got merged in, but seeing a couple of the guards too - one with green and one with yellow - it looks like it's a bug with the shield texture mapping maybe? And I've never seen that one where the custodian (or anyone else) merges into their bed when killed either! The inconsistency with which some characters got their clothes and items back but others didn't was odd too. If I were a dev, I'd make sure all characters who were not supposed to be killed/looted reappeared with their clothes again. It would spoil the fun run of rebel players like yourself(!) but would at least be more consistent with the game plot and questline. Plus of course, it syncs better with the cutscenes. It's also strange how, if you changed Henry's outfit, some cutscenes showed him with the kit you chose for him, while others didn't, particularly in the early game (presumably the devs didn't expect players to break the plot by accumulating stolen groschen and putting on different clothes/armour while still in Skalitz or early Talmberg, for example). Maybe in future, devs should employ you to break/test their games before release! You're sure to find any problems with your "unorthodox" playing methods! 🤣
Haha, I forgotten about the Blob error! This is the only time its ever happened to me to be honest, and it was over a year+ ago. I have found a bunch more "bugs" but I treat them more as features since what I do, you have to really attempt to do and screw up your own game rather than I don't think normal people would ever walk into something like this :P But glad you enjoy the "unorthodox" methods here, honestly KCD is so much fun because of it, the freedom to do things with the game is what I love about it, also its a great RPG on top it.
Wow, I did not realize that. I rarely go into those shops for armor. I do all my shopping at the bandit emporium at Skalitz :P But thanks! That white armor does look slick with some outfits.
With the protection of the Virgin Mary gone due to the actions of the inquisitor untold horrors were released from the underworld and consumed Henry to return to his Skalitz ways of murdering.

That is interesting thought. I would do a full play through, but only if I can find a way to make things interesting.
