    This video is actually from six years ago. As I write this I am waiting to hear back from the gentleman who will tell me whether the data on my hard drive can be recovered. I was driving, you see, and trying to transfer data at the same time. The car in front of me came to a sudden stop and naturally I hit the brakes, and here comes my hard drive flying across the cabin to crack me in the back of the head and then fall to the floor. When I pulled over and plugged it in again, it made some kind of weird beeping noise and was no longer recognizable by the computer.     chuck the hard drive in the freezer for an hour or so and it may let you recover a bit. or take it to a professional recovery service ;)
