I still think this game is incredible graphically and stylistically. They're releasing it on the 3ds sometime quite soon ... I really think nintendo should have put it onto the switch though as it has dual analogs on it.

Just watched some LM3 gameplay then went back to this. I love how you almost can't see anything without a flashlight in this game. In LM3 you can clearly see everything in a "dark room". Ghosts are creepier here too.

I mean, if people think otherwise, why even bother trying to make another Luigi's Mansion at all? I personally feel all the games are great and definitely have their own merits and I really hope to see even more Luigi's Mansion games in the future! (If there is one particular thing I do miss from the original though, it's Luigi commenting on things via the Game Boy Horror and being a bit sarky depending on the item in question. That was cool.)

There own specialty and I also agree there is a potential to make other games for Luigi’s mansion that I would agree so if there was a Luigi’s mansion 4 In the progress (not saying this will happen) I would really like to see the ghost from the first game to come back for revenge on Luigi and as he goes through and progress’s he finds the toads and even this time Mario could be sitting in E.gadd’s lab and princess peach is the one who king boo captured and at the end we see Luigi relive the first fight again where king boo become’s bowser and attacks Luigi and even we could see a few new bosses to in this new game maybe I would really like cash to stay how it was in the original game because that was a good idea in my opinion but definitely like the idea you gave and I will support the idea thanks for the time you give to read this!

Well it makes the game so funny because Luigi has the strength of God to capture the portrait ghosts who lived in the mansion to find Mario. Bowser is at home in his castle right now with his son watching Dr. Phil while the boos and their leader are out sabotaging Mario. Luigi is not giving up on his brother. These portrait ghosts are the people who lived in the mansion until they died there. Little did Luigi know that the mansion was bound to a satanic ritual that was done by which person who lived in it until an angry rumor of mobs killed all the men women and children who lived in the mansion for demonical sorcery under no theory or circumstances. They burned down the mansion, cheer in victory and left the Mansion turning into dust. Luigi can now understand exactly what happened to them throughout the game.
The first game will always be the best in the series bc of how well it managed to be unsettling and creepy without outright traumatizing the young playerbase when it first game out. Everything about the game meshed together so well to create this eerie and creepy game that even I, at 22 years old and not scared of the game, can appreciate and adore the unsettling vibe it gives
