Thank you for introducing such useful words. I've heared ”has a kick to it ” in British tv show before and i was always wondering what it means. Finally figured it out!
Thank you for the nice video, Jun-san as always!!😀 I think I got some nuances of "kick". This video reminded me of my childhood somehow. When I was ten or so, I was beginning to love wasabi. I used to put plenty of wasabi on sushi, sashimi, etc., enjoying a nice kick to it, or that might have been far more than "the nice kick" for my age. But I loved it. One day, my family went to a conveyor belt sushi place. It had some ice creams on the menu. I asked my parents to order two melon ice creams. One was for me, and another was for my elder brother. Yes, what came to your mind now is 100% right. I put some wasabi into the brother's one...😅 He ate it, vomiting almost at the same time just like a scene in "The Simpsons"🤮 Having realized what was happening, my parents got mad at me, I couldn't help getting a kick out of it though... There was one more reason that I couldn't help laughing. I found customers next to us laughing at us, which made me laugh more😂 Do I kick myself now? Nope. I was just a 10-year-old kid. I just did it just for kicks. This is one of my "kicking" memories. Thank you so much for a wonderful chance to try a short English writing👍 See you in the next homework Jun-san!!
