Strasburg Rail Road: Steaming Through Paradise with No. 89

Huge shout out to David, 89's Engineer on the 18th for letting me and two of my friends in the cab.
In this video, we follow No. 89 on the Road to Paradise. Built in February 1910 by the Canadian Locomotive Company for the Grand Trunk Western as No. 1009, and later as No. 911, she was used to haul passenger trains on the branch lines of the Grand Trunk and later the Canadian National. In 1951, she was renumbered to No. 89 and retired from service on the CN some years later. She began running on the Green Mountain Railroad in Vermont in 1965 until selling her to the Strasburg Rail Road in 1972, where she has called home for the past 50 years.

You're finally going to Strasburg?! It's a really nice ride. Hope you enjoy it! Also, while you're there, try to visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, National Toy Train Museum, Whits End Trading Company, Red Caboose Motel, Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Train Shop, and Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. If you want I can DM you the location of all those places. Anyway, can't wait to see the video of your experience!
