I have lost Pahiopedilums to scale before. They get so tight into the leaf axil too. It’s getting close to bringing everybody indoors for the winter here in the North, so I am taking inventory, figuring out who comes in first ect. Part of all that is seeing what treatments are needed so they can go into winter in the best condition. Last year I battled fungus gnats so bad. Hoping I don’t have a repeat 😅. Would you do a segment on your winter prep?
@@Orquideascristy I could have saved it but I have so many orchids right now and some are in ICU and I decided to follow the advice of Fred Clarke at SVO and cull it.
@@marylalone7104 Well, the plant was declining and probably losing it’s root system which makes it more susceptible to pests. Thank you for your comment.
