      To make amends, he would have to be of service to Pepper or Morgan. As Sam pointed out, saying sorry is not enough. He had to make them feel better. If in the future he somehow saves Morgan's life, it would go a long way towards amending what the Winter Soldier did. BTW, I thought the most horrible part was that Howard Stark recognized Bucky and Bucky remembers.

      From Tony’s perspective, that line may come off as cruel, but it isn’t Bucky’s intention. He is just making it known that he is actually the WS biggest victim as he has to live with the suffering he has produced while also being robbed of his life and hated as a villain. He too lost all those years like Cap did, but he didnt wake up to glory and honor, he woke in captivity with Hydra, tortured, manipulated, brainwashed, forced to assassinate dozens of people, and then framed for murder and chased abroad. Guy has got it rough.

    I think he was telling the truth when she asked if he had nightmares. Bucky doesn't have nightmares, his entire life is a nightmare. He's a man out of time, his only friend is soon to be dead and he can't seem to escape his tragic past.
    James died that day when he fell out of the train and as Bucky died The Winter Soldier was born. It was only 80 years later that James Buchanan Barnes was resurrected. The Winter Soldier died the day Bucky was reborn

    Bucky Barnes is truly one of the best characters in the MCU. Very organic character development. It would be awesome if he stays around in the MCU long enough to become Captain America after Sam’s arc ends. Imagine his journey coming full circle like that. From innocent soldier and Cap’s best friend to Hydra’s top assassin to the rehabilitated White Wolf to Captain America. Redemption.

His performance in every MCU project has been the highlight. He has done more with no words than all the actors with tons of lines. He knows how to elicit emotion.

    Bucky has always been my favourite MCU character. I was 16 when I first saw Bucky in the first Captain America movie. Now 10 years later seeing my favourite character got his peace and happiness makes my heart so full of joy. Bucky James Barnes has the most overwhelming journey and life arc in mcu universe. All I wanted him to free of his pain and get a peace of his mind. And he finally got in TFATWS. I feel thankful to Sebastian for making this character alive and close to our heart!

  • @oliviacharlotte2093
    @oliviacharlotte2093 3 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    This is stunning. Like it’s actual art. I always liked Bucky but since tfatws came out I’ve fallen in love with him and I’m now currently rewatching all the mcu films and I just love him more and more as I watch them. I hate when people say that Bucky was a villain or that he’s guilty for his crimes. Like I understand that he did technically commit them but he was put through 70 or so years of abuse and torture and he had control of his mind and body stolen from him, he was forced to kill people for hydra and he still has to live with those nightmares to this day (or whatever year it is in the mcu currently). Like yes he killed people but he’s innocent. When hydra turned Bucky into the winter soldier they stripped him of his free will, they stole control of his mind and body and forced him to do unspeakable things and as he told Tony in civil war he remembers everyone they ever made him kill. Imagine having to live with such an unbelievable amount of guilt for things that weren’t even your fault. My hurt just breaks for Bucky and the amount of pain he’s had to go through but I’m so glad he’s free now and he’s happy. Again, this is a masterpiece!

    I really like what this show is doing with Bucky‘s character. To often superhero movies/shows tend to ignore mental illness, glorify or vilify it. This show has been showing the struggle and constant effort and awkwardness of recovery and I love it. Bucky is not being made into some kind of tragic hero, but a living, feeling, healing individual. Also this video is a piece of art😊

    This was the best video on Bucky that could possibly be made.
    It had me in just the first clips, the atmosphere with Bucky's therapist conversation was absolutely insane and mesmerizing. Each beat in the first song is edited masterfully and those fight sequences are among the best you've ever made. The silence in the transition is timeless, left me breathless.
    This second part is at the top of your emotional parts, the music, the fire sequence and him just trying to move on from his past life felt so spiritual. This part is legit impossible to not watch in full once you start it. What a magnificent work, emotions felt at their peak. You even made those scenes from the show better thant they were at first. Hats off ! This was a masterpiece !
