Don't apologise for the music. It's your channel, do what you like. No one is being forced to watch it. Also be aware that there's another channel out there with a multi video series on engine swapping a Mini, which involved extensive bracket fabrication...
People got upset about the music? They need to get a grip and get over themselves. Great work, can’t wait to see all the videos as you progress, have whatever music you want.
What an amazing project and I love your calm and relaxed way of explaining what you're doing! I agree though on the comments about the music in the first episode and find the choice of music on 2nd episode perfectly chosen 🙌🏻 Can't wait for more videos to come!
I love these Type Builds! Started with Binky, then Watched Jeff put a Ferrari V8 engine in a Alfa Romeo, currently watching a Irish chap put a Complete Boxster under a Metro with a 6r4 Bodykit and now a mini with a Porsche engine and front Subframe👍 I like your Music on the Last Video but this has a Bit more Chill Vibe. I've now Subscribed 👏
Great Project he is building. I wanted to keep it as much as possible a mini... Similar to the Z-cars bike engine conversions. I would have kept the front subframe but wheels and brakes would not be big enough.
I was just thinking cant wait for you to get that block ice blasted. I have used theblastsmith in the past and he did some amazing work. I cant wait for next video and happy new year.
It’s something I want to do as soon as possible, but here in Italy I am having trouble finding someone to do it for me and if they can the prices are excruciatingly high!!
Beautiful project and i can't wait for the end result 😀👍.... Im very curious on what you are planning to do with the electrical... Do you plan to use the porsche ecu as much as possible ?.... I hope you share some of the details on how you make the electric stuff work together 😀
Mini is looking good mate but are you going to shorten the Rear Drive Shafts? Good luck & look forward to the next Episode PS glad you ditched the music lol 👍
The driveshafts will stay the same, in the end the rear end is around 15cm wider on each side but with could be slightly reduced with different offset/width wheels.
What a project.your mad as a bag of spiders 😂. I've been pondering a similar project but the project car is a mitsubishi mirage coupe. Just wondering why didn't the 16" alloys work?
Project is designed with 16 or 17” in mind. Bigger is not possible. All is dependent on the circumference of the tire, any bigger and it would not be able to steer plus look even more comical for proportions. In the end, this tire size and 17” wheel were about the smallest circumference you could get for 16 or 17 inch wheels
Great project, your going to have a lot of fun! The track is very wide for the body, what have you planed? There's a irish guy doing a boxter metro, but thats a 6r4 replica with the mega wide bodykit. You've probably seen it but uf not ill find a link 👍 here it is, one of my current favourite builds th-cam.com/play/PLtXssEucnVPUBq81kksYs7s0G1RzUNI1K.html&si=Csh3Y-GJCh0L5qef
Great Project he is building. I wanted to keep it as much as possible a mini and mini shell... if possible! It will be similar to the Z-cars bike engine conversions in that the main part of the shell is kept and it is not a silhouette racer. I would have kept the front subframe but wheels and brakes would not be big enough and the proportions would have been very strange.

Yes, another channel that the quality of the brackets and the funk out music are amazing!!! ;-)
As a guy who loves British cars this is proper cool I am getting project Binky vibes subscribed!
Great work.
Subbed and looking forward to the rest of the build.
Love the name too PigMi. 😁😁
Thanks!
Im invested in this series now. Great work and it will be amazing when it's finished.
😆 love the welding 'goggles' 🤣 great couple of vids! Cant wait to see the rest, also, ditto the Project Binky vibes 👍
Yes…. Maybe better safety needed!!!!
Greetings from ice cold Finland 👋 Very neat project, I'll be sure to follow
Great bit of engineering to get the engine and front sub frame to fit into the mini. Roll on for the next episode, all the best from Bath in the UK 🇬🇧
Great video, you make it all seem easy but it definitely isn't! Will be watching the series with interest. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Thanks for watching!
People got upset about the music? They need to get a grip and get over themselves. Great work, can’t wait to see all the videos as you progress, have whatever music you want.
Great progress and you nailed it with the music 😅
Thanks!
More entertaining with the reduction in music volume. An interesting and enjoyable build. Looking forward to the next episode.
Nice one, love some CAD (cardboard aided design) keep em coming.
Love the explanation rather than a Timelapse with music. I’m hooked.
Excellent makes me want to get back to my stalled project 👍
it’s going well, I love this project !👍🏽
So good. I’m going to really enjoy this series, and thanks for listening about the music. 😂
Thank you for taking the time to comment...... Im still learning this video editing and so on!
Looks like a great project dude, and nothing wrong with the pink 😂
Love the music from video 1 and this thx , great work
I would love to see this mid engine conversion
Wow. That was such a good moment when you lifted up the mini and the porsche subframe went up with it. Good job!! Really satisfying.
Thanks, It was strangely easy, next video will be out soon, front has not been as easy!
Great project great video diary
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm hooked, looking forward to the journey, thank you 😊
Thank you!
Great thanks for another enjoyable project video 👍🍺🇬🇧
Thanks 👍

The 6r4 bloke is Peden Conceptz

I'm enjoying your series already. I built a Ford 3.0L V6 into my Mini long ago.
Sounds great! Did you fit it in the front or the back ?
It was in front, I built a new chassis and bolted body to it.
Thanks for posting. Looking forward to the next video.
More to come!
Love this project looks so cool already 😎👍🏾👏🏾
Glad you like it!
This build is my new obsession
I see what you did there
@@jimmyfleebot is that... Bad?

Keep This up mate u will be a TH-cam star before u know it. Love this project and look forward to next instalment.
Thank you! Next video arriving very soon.
Turbo it 😉 Cool project, looking forward to seeing how it develops 😊
That’s an idea I have maybe for later!!!
Still stoked on this project! Will you be putting absurd flares on, or do you have another plan?
This is a hard one, I am still thinking of solutions, It will need wide wheel arches but has to look right which is easier said than done
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice work! Where did you do the laser cut stuff?
@@bviep very lucky as all Local, huge choice of companies who can do it.
Content great; music *much* less intrusive - good job!
Glad you liked it!
Better than binky
You can’t beat Binky, maybe I will finish mine first!
What an exciting project? Do you have an IG? Love to follow your progress there
Thanks! Yes, you can see more at @REALDRIVERCARS

Hi, you will see in future episodes, I plan to reuse all of the Porsche wiring loom.

The music was fine before. Use what you like, it's your project

I agree bigger than that would look a bit silly on a
mini.being honest I think 16"
would look better than 17"
@@ciaranboyle311yes,16” would be better but just couldn’t find tyre sizes that were right as more choice in 17”
This is Ace
Thanks!
CRAZIEST SWAP EVER, but i thinks its to wide... i think a better option is made custom suspension arms
It’s about 15cm wider on each side, but this is more the wheels and offset, compared to some race minis, its not that bad

@realdrivercars7734 I look forward to seeing all the solutions you come up with. One day I'll be brave and make something custom! Good luck 👍
Boring monotone voice i cant watch
Thanks for that. Goodby.
What a negative response. This is such an interesting project shame you can't add something useful.
Im sorry you feel that way!
You should be so proud of your work. Just brilliant. Subbed
Much appreciated!
