We are back with some Google Earth shenaniguns today, this time we are in the south of France building a restaurant with some gorgeous CC! Have a nice weekend, see you all on Tuesday!

You really have a knack for creating atmospheric places that seem to have a lived-in history to them. I want to go there and have a glass of wine and a nice meal! Brush up on my French :D J'adore!

I've been watching you for years and I really appreciate in all your builds how you preselect items off camera and show us where you put them on camera. Idk how to explain it but as a viewer it just very clean to watch 🥹
I would love to see you try and build a lot based on the town of Bonifacio. For a bit of context this is what the amazing place is known for:
Bonifacio is a town on the southern tip of the French island of Corsica. It’s known for its lively marina and medieval clifftop citadel. The 13th-century Bastion de l’Etendard houses a small museum with exhibits on the town’s history. L’Escalier du Roi d’Aragon is 187 ancient steps carved into the cliff face. To the southeast, the uninhabited Lavezzi Islands, a nature reserve, have granite boulders and sandy beaches.
I would think you would love this architecture and I think you would smash a build like this! xx

Hello! I have a suggestion for one of the next French buildings. A few years ago I was hiking through the area south of Strasbourg, there are a lot of really beautiful villages: Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Kayersberg, Hunawihr,... They are surrounded by vineyards and just below the Vosges mountains. The architecture is German rather than French, as the Alsace region was under German influence in the past. I have no idea how is the architecture called but I think you would like it.
BEAUTIFUL! Since I can't take a plane and visit the south of France right now, I'm going to get my simself to visit this gorgeous build ASAP! I hope you have a great hike this weekend!

I've got a friend who lives in the south of france and this place reminds me of reasturants we've had meals in. We went to one place and in the middle of the room was this huge double sided fire and found out when the place was first built they use to roast there meat on a spit. After the meal before we left i had a look and sure enough the spit was still in place however no longer used. It was a big place but felt cozy if that makes sense?
I really wanted to add in a "special" restaurant into my game, a romantic place where sims could go for anniversaries, a special occasion- a proposal maybe? - and this perfectly fits the bill. Knowing that restaurants occasionally have some routing issues, I may have to play a bit with the layout, and add in a bit more of the Grove collection to my cc- but this will definitely have a place in my game!

I always worry about tables next to the bathroom, I worry someone will be taking a loud expressive poo while I'm sipping my wine 🍷 😝 🤢

Hello ! If you're looking for things to built with french architecture, you should look at what we do in the region of Bretagne really :)
Little granite houses with blue windows and very nautical themes... I love them so much.
Towns to look for inspo : Saint-Malo(where I was born), Cancale, Dinan... You should look at pictures, it's stunning!
Also! Look up Castel-Meur, see if that inspires you ;)
And if you feel like building somethin ENORMOUS and medieval, look up the Mont-Saint-Michel...
Or weird (and impossible to build in the sims) : Le Palais Idéal du facteur cheval
I loooove St Paul de Vence, used to go there every summer before moving to London ❤ Full of artisanal boutiques and there's a gorgeous hill top cemetery where Chagall was buried - it oversees the Mediterranean sea and it's just beautiful xx
