Shockingly Senator was keeping up with Raiden. Raiden could cut 100 times less than a second. And Senator defeated someone like Jet Stream Sam who was just as fast.
Even after losing part of an arm to Sam, Armstrong just took advantage of the nano machines and took out Sam’s arm and then Armstrong put his cut arm back on like it never happened. It was insane, harder battle than raiden’s imo

I love this concept with the AI voices, great edit. In my opinion snappier one-liners like in the MK/Injustice interactions would work better and hopefully be easier to tune but the longer interactions are still great!

@Valro Iteso Not exactly. I see why gameplay would be discredited, but since he's a boss it's a good point of reference. He was also able to out-class Raiden in speed several times, an example being his initial shoulder charge.

ive played RE and beat wesker with a pistol and tank controls... Armstrong? i needed 2 super swords, plot armor, the reaction time to cut through bullets, full state of the art cybernetic body and even then he nearly bodied me AFTER he let me get ALOT of free shots in!

I’m a huge Wesker fan, he’s in my top 5 villains… but Armstrong should absolutely body him in a fight. Like give Wesker every buff and weapon he’s ever had and I don’t think he could even harm Armstrong.

It’s not really a close fight. Wesker’s best feats hit up to bullet dodging and being capable of destroying large buildings, but he’s still been hurt by regular explosions. Meanwhile, Senator Armstrong not only survived the collapse of the Metal Gear EXCELSUS, but caused it with a fuckin punch. Not to mention, Raiden held back the entirety of Outer Haven with *one arm* in his previous body. This previous body was so much weaker and slower compared to his Revengance body that Jetstream Sam was able to toy with him and blitz him, compared to how they went toe to toe near the end of the game. The fact that Armstrong is physically capable of overpowering Raiden in his Revengance body is absolutely insane. Wesker would outpace Armstrong in movement speed for sure, but Armstrong was capable of sword catching Raiden, who has previously cut missiles in half, casually parries bullets, statues most enemies in Blade Mode, and can accurately parry Jetstream Sam. Wesker would likely try to blitz Armstrong, Armstrong would catch him, and proceed to break Wesker apart.
@Guts that’s a bit of an issue since Armstrong won’t have any holes. The only time Armstrong has been hurt was from the entire metal gear excelsus exploding (of which he still barely took damage from, most of it was just his shirt) or from a high frequency blade, which is able to semi-ignore durability because it destabilizes the electromagnetic fields of particles it hits. yes, a rocket launcher stuns Wesker, and my point is that Armstrong literally face tanks explosions thousands of times that caliber.

Pretty sure Armstrong still wins easily... he is way faster (keeps up with Raiden and catches his blade, who is faster than Wesker)... way more Accurate (he played college ball, could have gone pro, and can throw massive chunks of metal precisely at a small guy in a pile of debris)... his defence is unmatched (because nanomachines, son!)
