I have tried this foundation and I LOVE IT! It makes my skin looks flawless for many hours, poreless/less pores for a long time, it keeps me healthy matte. It is natural, but not too natural. I have combination skin. More oily on my T-zone and more dry/normal on the rest of my face. For me, this probably will replace my Estée Lauder double wear foundation, nothing has been able to compete with my Estée Lauder foundation until this foundation showed up! The Estée Lauder double wear is however more foolproof, more matte and a little bit more "cakey" but the Dior one just looks more beautiful even thou it dosen´t last hardcore on my skin like the Estée Lauder does, but because of the finish on my skin with the Dior and over all quality, I think this may be my new favorite foundation of all time, witch is a chocking to me, to be honest!
OK, now I want to get a sample 😁 you're right about th ELDW, which is basically the one foundation I can rely on use daily because of the same things you mentioned...thanks for the video.

Oily skin beauty. I am on my third bottle of this foundation. This is the best foundation for the everyday woman with oil skin. I can apply in the morning and still be confident in my skin during afternoon meetings. I love it.
emi I do but this foundation has never caused any acne. My skin looks so much smoother with this foundation.
That made me feel awesome about buying it! So far I’m still loving it! It lasts pretty dang well!

I love this foundation. I’m on my second bottle. I have oily skin and I am a nurse that work 12 hours. It’s a high medium natural coverage that lasts all day, especially with me running around. I have always got compliments on my skin when I’m wearing this.

The dior backstage or forever?
That’s what I’m looking for. I have a draw full of foundation but my face is so damn picky and breaks me out by my chin area that’s when I abort mission. Lol. This one I want to try. I want to try the Siri backstage but scared it might be like Mac the face n body foundation. Looks alike.
Looks like the foundation had a very healthy, not full coverage but flawless finish in my opinion. It made your skin look very even and healthy. I love how natural it looks, I am very impressed!! 👍🏼💕

I have normal skin and I love love love this foundation! I usually get the shade 2N and it makes my skin look so flawless. Not sure how it's possible but I love the way it oxidizes on my skin after being on for a few hours too
I also bought this foundation during the sale. I have combo skin, i do get a little oily on my nose but it doesnt fade. Its one of the few foundations that are longwearing on my skin. I have not broken out. I got the color 4wo. None of the other shades fit me so im glad dior extended their shades.
So impressed with how it wears during the day too! I’ve been wearing it all this week and so far so good! 🙌🏼❤️

Hi Trina... wow.. you do look fresh and flawless... even better than the fenty matte foundation I must say.... and I really need to buy that Foxy brown lip cheat.. it looks wonderful... This foundation says it is velvety matte... which I personally love... but I feel this kind of finish doesn’t do well for oily skinned people in outdoor conditions on summer days... and physical sunscreen spf 35... I really don’t see much flashback if any at all.. which is wonderful...regarding the price.. I feel this looks much better than Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation which is in same price range. But brands do overprice .. even luxury brands.. I mean brands like chanel is an age old luxury brand, ( dior, chanel seem like the “ old money “ kinds... if u get the drift) but Chanel foundation costs less. Though Chanel doesn’t carry these many shades which really bugs me sometimes. But other brands like Nars, Lancome are also luxury brands but cost less and make beautiful foundations. Regarding the fragrance, I really wish Dior chucks off that fragrance in all their makeup and skincare products. If you are partial to Dior and wear their skin care and makeup, you are in for a headache from all that fragrance, believe me. Thank you for ur review.. I loved the foundation.. and u look just yummy.

This is my favorite foundation OF LIFE! I also did a video on it... I have oily skin, and this gives me amazing oil control, and all day flawless wear. I do oil blot and touch up with a bit of powder maybe once throughout my day, but the foundation doesn't budge on me or cake up on me when I touch up and blot. Beautiful finish, and it looks amazing in pictures!

It looks like your skin and not like makeup. I haven’t found anything that makes my skin look flawless except the maybelline 24 hour and I use a light hand but sometimes I think it can look masky.

Thank you for the review. I am in the process of trying this foundation. So far after trying so many different shades 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I think I finally found it. I was using it with sunscreen under but now I won’t based on all the ingredients. Also it makes my oily skin oily within few hours living in a humid Florida weather. I like the texture so far but I’ll try it a little longer. Living in a humid state don’t help much. Thank you.

Wow light weight and flawless finish. I was debating about getting either this or the dior body and face foundation.
Definitely get this one instead! Backstage foundation is soo sheer and will settle in to every little texture on your face
I love it. Does it have a strong smell? I can't handle that.
I hate to say this but I think you are cool toned/ pink undertoned in skin shade. A lot of darker skin toned folks don't know it but you look good in silver jewelry, black, and pure bright white in color which are traits of "winter" complexions, AKA icy cool toned skin and it is actually the most VERSATILE of complexions. We look best in bright vibrant cool toned colors, no yellow or orange tones - and colors most other people cannot pull off at all! It's really apparent in the first half of the video when you look at your neck/chest/shoulder area which is rather pink toned in the light. The olive/ warm toned foundation is really apparent when you apply the foundation with the contrast to your natural skin tone below. You can tell your silver earrings flatter your skin tone and are a nice match but the peach colored shirt washes out your vibrant icy skin and so does the foundation - which yellow undertones give icy winters a sallow/ sickly appearance. Just sayin cus just I know am a true winter myself and see this misconception all the time because deeper skin tones don't think they can have pink undertones but they do!
Complimentary colors are ones that flatter you natural tones and make you look alive! Often they are the colors people compliment you on for wearing, if you notice the color first (say of a shirt) and not the persons face - this is not a complimentary color, it's working in opposition to your natural beauty. Colors that are complimentary to your skin actually enhance your natural appearance and your face! They make you look radiant and alive. Do with this info. as you may just thought you might find it interesting. You are very beautiful!

Hi there! I'm so glad you did a natural light check in. The studio lights made the initial application look too olive, but something magical happened when you applied the powder. Is that the Charlotte Tilbury powder that's in the compact? In the natural light the shade match was perfection. The finish looked really nice too. It looks like a winner for you!👍🏽😊
The foundation does adjust to the skin in a way.
I said the exact same thing when I watched it back! I saw too much olive (green) to it too and then once I applied the rest of my makeup it seemed to blend in a bit better.
And yes it was the medium Charlotte tilbury powder in the compact. I linked it in the description box 🥰❤️
I was happy about that! I found it to be really olive at first then it adjusts a bit better as you work with it thankfully!

My pores were "thirsty", the Dior lady told me. Imagine my surprise! Ive always been afraid to use (greasy) face creams. Try Dior Perfection Universale. I bet you would love it. I use it every day and it makes my face feel like silk, silky!, like you described. I am older, and just starting to wear foundatiln...this one almost glows when you first put it on your face!

I would say you have some peach undertone more than yellow referencing from the video and could use another shade. but I appreciate this review.

I would highly recommend using any foundation with Urban decay all nighter setting spray. It makes my makeup last through anything
Too faced peach perfect is flash friendly and very long wearing use it along with the peach perfect translucent setting powder. This foundation is also very nice. Mufe matte velvet is also a good one. Sample all of them.

Would you recommend this foundation for wedding makeup? Or do you have a different one you prefer? (I have oily skin)
This could definitely work for a wedding. You can adjust the coverage according to your liking and it will definitely stay on all day, if you have an oily t zone you’ll only need to touch up that throughout the day!

Amazon sells fake dior makeup.
The foundation surely made you look flawless. But that's a lot of money and I can't imagine all of that going down into the bin at the end of the day! I can still convince myself to buy expensive skincare cause that's (hopefully) going into my skin but I am not there yet with makeup.
