Y'all need to watch Upper Eschelon's video about how bad BetterHelp is as a company and to what lengths they go to, to completely screw people who sign up!
So happy to see your update Brady and Blue - you have many eager watchers!! So glad the "love drops" worked back in Namibia. You guys are such an awesome team!
Brady, Blue. You made me smile. So good to see you 2 again. Magnificent boat, I am so pleased for you. My wife and I enjoyed watching you for years and were sad when you left Delos. It hasn't been the same. We enjoyed following you in your new Life. My wife died last week of a heart attack at work. I miss her so much, but please know the joy you shared in your many travels. She loved it. Much affection from Toronto
Always a treat to see you two drop another video. As always so well done. Hope your contracting your Video accomplishments as well as your Sailing schools. Well done!
Great video she's is a beauty(all 3 lady's ). Brady I'm going through a rough time thank you for making me feel like I'm not alone. I have been watching since 2015. Blessings to you and Blue!
Hi Senor Brady and Blue. Great video, as per usual. Nice to be able to make the comparison - and see the difference - between Lintika and Delos.... which I'm still following since you and Brian first set sail in 2010. It's a bit different these days, with just the three of them. Fair Winds and Following Seas. Russ. UK.
Hey Brady! It's so great to see the boat tour of Lintika. You and Blue make such an awesome team! Your updates always have us eagerly watching. And those "love drops" working back in Namibia, couldn't be happier for you both! Also, love how that Garmin integrates with all the sensors, it's impressive. By the way, your comparison between Lintika and Delos was really interesting, I've been following them too since 2010. Stay safe out there, fair winds and following seas! Keep up the great work and thank you for prioritizing safety. Remember, being prepared is essential. Sending positive vibes your way! 🌊⛵️
Wow, what an awesome boat. You really fell on your feet with that one. A good well informed boat tour 👍. SV Kiwi Lady Opua Bay of islands New Zealand 👍🏿
When I watched the video of Karen and Brian returning to their boat with their little girl barely acknowledging you Brady and Blue I knew something had happened and it broke my heart and I can still vision Brady being so upset as he said he’spent 10 years of his life on that boat, it was his home(Brady’s). It broke my heart, although I was never quite sure what actually took place watching this video confirmed what I suspected all along, and I watched every video and tried to continue watching after you two were gone, but it just wasn’t the same. It’s really good to see that you and blue have got your own thing going on now
Great video guys, really helps to understand how you configure the boat for your lifestyle! Can’t wait until my kids old enough to come and do your cruisers courses!!!
Hey Brady and Blue beautiful boat good job.Im still smiling that I got to have lunch with you in Truckee a few days before you flew to Baja .I would love to have met you as we'll Blue but you were horseback riding .I took a break from watching Delos for the millionth time to check out your boat.i hope you have a great season.
Awesome video guys, fun to see the differences between our boat and Lintika, it’s so crazy how they are both Passport 42s but so unique in their own ways!
Well... That was a veeeery looooooong time with out you guys, I really missed you, I hope this is going to change from now on. I love what you've done to the boat, it puts SV Delos to shame. ☝😉👍
So looking forward to learn to sail on your gorgeous boat! Cruisers Academy ❤! Great safety protocols, outside mounted life raft and the bar is impressive too 😊! Shannon
Hello from a 1st time commenter! Got hooked watching Delos when she was off the coast of Maine (I live on Deer Isle), then backtracked to the beginning- then started following you two as you split away to do your own thing. Loving it all. My wacky cabin/camp(winterized) feels a bit like being on a boat- no movement, but from my loft... well, it just does, kinda-sorta. Pirate Mistress of my ship, I am! I am barely a sailor (smaller boats only), but an enthusiastic cheerleader. If you're ever in this neck of the woods- or at least this latitude (44 north-- also an excellent coffee roaster on island) please think of being in touch. I have room for a crew, am a trained professional chef, so can feed you well! I also work at a restaurant which has a great little cove anchorage. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. Chilly waters aren't for everyone, but our sailing community is solid- and has been since whaling days (days I don't even like to think about) Hope this finds you well. Thank you for all the time and effort it takes to video at least some of your adventures. I cannot imagine having to smile for the camera so much! Anyway- cheers from Maine! Abbey IG evilauntieabbey
yay! i've been looking forward to this. always appreciate your honesty about your mental health, brady.it's so important. loved the tour. lintika is so beautiful. fair winds and following seas to you both and everyone who sails with you! 🛴❤
Love all your safety features. Being prepared is never too much. I still think of the 3 American sailors that disappeared in April this year (2023) in the Sea of Cortez on their older Lafitte 44 navigating apparently by cell phone (according to the brother of the lost captain). The boat didn't have updated or newer navigation or safety features. No trace was found despite a huge coast guard search for many days.
My favorite sailors uploaded made my day better and it was a rough one really enjoyed your video been wanting to see a tour of your boat all the best from alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Always love watching anything you guy's put out! Absolutely love your boat guy's you both have done amazing and should be proud of ya selfs!!! Safe travels guy's.
Loved the boat tour, thank you guys. She looks so robust and comfy at the same time, so beautiful and unique boat you got there. We have the same dinghy and just love it. Ours is cat proof 😂
Hi guys I have been wandering if you would consider putting the TH-cam logo on your sails. I think James did that and it looks cool. Good advertising. Just saying maybe consider it
Very cool tour of the boat ;) Looks nice and cozy and she's a beautiful boat! Question, do you have a back-up water making system, should you have a major failure with power? For example, some folks carry solar stills in their emergency kits/ ditch bags?
We don’t, if we were to cross the pacific we’d put a hand held one onboard. Our way of avoiding issues is by making water every other day-ish to keep the tanks full so that if something did break we could greatly reduce our water usage to the bare minimum until it was fixed. We have big tanks for this size boat, 140 gallons- which would last us quite a awhile if needed!
I love this boat! AND from first hand experience, the comforts, technology, sail capability and safety make it pretty special! ❤ Thanks for a great sailing lesson and adventure around Isla Carmen! And love getting to revisit with this video.
I wonder if the boat seats are usually white because they float like the plain seats. and easier to see. if it came down to that they needed to float. praying that never happens but yeah maybe its just a old wise thing they started and always have done as a in case of emergency ?? idk just a thought
You know y'all could go into any port now and when they ask to see your passport you could show them your boat and just tell them it gives to access to anywhere at anytime 😉😉😉
Love the video! I just purchased a Slocum 43’ in Liberia Costa Rica, and you are right-the Passport is so dang similar but different in small unique ways! Love it. We are flying Dec 4 to move her up to Chiapas MX to begin a refit…would be awesome to meet you guys sometime in an anchorage! Keep up the awesome work, Cheers!
Awesome demo guys tyvm. Advise for everyone else thinking about buying a boat. Never, ever, ever buy a boat older than 20 yrs. Why you ask? 1) Insurance costs thru the roof 2) Maintenance is not only expensive but it’s a nightmare that never ends 3) Most importantly SAFETY Boats this old are often times no longer seaworthy… 4) Resale value? What resale value? I’ll give you a dollar 💵 You are better off getting something 5-10 year old max with an engine having less than 2,000 NM. Once the motor hits 2,000 NM you have to overhaul the engine . STAY AWAY FROM MONEY PITS!!!
Heya! We actually think that older boats are often better built than lots of newer production boats. We have lots of friends cruising on boats from the 80s that are super sea worthy. We haven’t found that insurance is unreasonable, but, financing them is almost impossible. If you do your own maintenance, it’s a great way to learn your boat and slowly make upgrades… and resale value for these boats actually stays pretty steady. We would much rather have an older, well maintained, solid boat then a new bendy toy 😉 But we know people’s opinions differ greatly on this!
The safety stuff in the back was new to me. Could you link your set up? Or perhaps describe the hydrostatic release and mount you guys use? The liferaft s really small too...

It’s a 6 person life raft, it blows itself up when released. Yes- we will work on some links for this gear 🤙
❤️✌️ really good see you guys invest in your youtube channel and starting to upload more videos, then channel will grow more and more with time 👍
Beautiful boat! Can you share where you got the hanging baskets in your galley? Thank you!
Can’t find the exact ones anymore but on amazing just search - hyacinth hanging basket👌
@@CruisersAcademy thank you!
Nice tour!
Rookie question: Is the water making system essentially a sea water de-salinator?
Thx
That is correct
Schaawweeet!
Love it. Guys skiing this year at all?
Yep! Gonna be home in Tahoe for the holidays and enjoying the slopppesss
Finally!
How do you like the canoe stern in following seas vs a sugar scoop?
Love it! The waves split and pass under you with ease
Which 6-man offshore life raft do you Have? It looks nice and compact. I have a canoe stern and would like to rig a similar system.
