Good morning Jody. Great art supply finds. That grab bag was surprisingly good. Will keep that in mind when I see those. I watch the swatching because I like to see how the pens, etc. work. Don’t have any so always curious. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Great haul I think the marbling bath powder is used in paper marbling. You use a colorless one to thicken the bath then swirl colors together before run a sheet of paper through the bath. You got an awesome deal on your 5 dollar box. Thanks for sharing with us😊

😊 Hi Jody. Great haul! I have a set of 60 FC Classic Colour pencils, which I purchased on Amazon. They're really reasonably priced and have a good amount of pigment for a budget set.

You can still get the Faber Classics Jodi. I just bought a 60 set. The Art Gear Guide on youtube reviewed them. They are inexpensive but very good quality.
I am from Calgary too 🎉 I've been going to Mona Lisa's art supplies (on 17th Ave) and find it sooooooo expensive. I will have to give Kensington a try 😊
Hi Jodi! You were at Kensington Art Supply??? I was there yesterday! I love their garage sales! I work 2 min from there and stop in every pay day after work to buy some open stock Derwent lightfasts to build my collection :) maybe I will see you there one day! Happy Stampeding!
what a fun haul Jody! You got some nice things! The marbling bath makes the water thicker, then you add paint, swirl it around and then dip your paper/fabric in and the paint adheres to it. I have used shaving cream and alcohol inks but not this particular brand. It makes good backgrounds for cards. 💕💕💕
Great Haul Jody!! How many markers does the Tombow case hold? I didn’t know Tombow did alcohol markers either! I’ve never done a grab bag or mystery box from an art store. I don’t think they do them here. Looks like fun though!

Hi Jody! I have the Faber Castell watercolor markers and was very bummed to hear you say they're discontinued. I wanted to find out more info but I'm not having any luck with a Google search. Do you mind me asking how you learned about it?
I learned about that about a year ago so not sure which artist channel. But if you go onto Faber Castell website they no longer list them as a product line. They do have a set still available though if you just search the name it is a gift box.
