First time checking out your channel! Really like what you're doing in this video! I tend to overcomplicate things with gear, but you have a prime lens, one light , and a beauty dish. Love the simplicity and you can't argue with results. For me, the 45 degree angle shots are so good. Something about that angle and the light makes it dramatic but also flattering for the model. Subbed!
Thank you for your feedback. We all tend to over complicate things. But you don’t need much to create fire. And the 45 degree angle is cinematic lighting. You’ll see it a lot in movies and shows
I like the 1st shot on all 3 but I really like the 3rd series with the contrasty moody looks. But you unfortunately weren't able to capture her side profile to capture one her best assets. . I miss your content glad to see it when you release it
second pose, the 90 degree shot would of looked better imo from the other 90 degree side looking into the street. has more color and pop or maybe just add that 4th angle to the set. fav photo of the 6 is pose 2 shot 2
The first one because she is looking straight into the camera. The second one would be better if her head was turned towards the camera. I have been a professional photographer for over 50 years and obviously you are also a professional photographer. I am a member of PPA and I strongly suggest that you join this organization if you are not a member.
the first is everything that is normal, basic, common, popular but nothing more, it is a portrait that any standard photographer could do, the second is more artistic, more daring, more stylish, more cinematic, more memorable, more commercial, the 3rd according to my humble opinion well I don't see much use
@@DerrelHoShingPhotography This isn’t “GAME CHANGING” it’s literally one of the first things you do when learning to light subjects. “Great beginner tip for off camera flash” would be a less bait-y title but doesn’t draw in the numbers right?
@@DerrelHoShingPhotography also, not hating, the content is good, clear, well put together and hope you do lots more and kudos for engaging with people in the comments. Will await to see a real game changer future title with a good pro tip from you
Dope video and love the shots!😍
Thank you
First one 1
Second one 1
Third one 3
super helpful for finding the best background elements...the leading lines on the third one are crazy.
Thanks my man. And I agree
💯
I liked number two on all three shots, just liked the lighting and angle perspective
Thank you. Generally 45 is a dope angle
I’m loving 1-2-3, in that order personally
Word. Thanks a lot bro

Bordel elle a un tarpé fulgurant 😱🔥❤️❤️❤️😊
¡Sí! Así es exactamente como se debe hacer. ¡El resultado final es lógico, simple, efectivo y hermoso! ¡Felicidades!
Shot 2 is the best
Thank you man
Great exercise. I find myself in one location WAY TOO OFTEN
Yes same here. This exercise forces you to step outside the box and find other angles you wouldn’t have thought of otherwise
Thank you!
Just Genius!
Thank you
I like number 3 the best.
Thank you

Hahahahahahahahaha thank you
The threes I liked a bit more, but probably the two's when in more sunlight
Interestingly, that makes sense. Thank you

fav photo of the 6 is pose 2 shot 2
The lighting wouldn’t have looked good had i done it the other way due to the sunlight’s direction
I love upstage lighting.
Shooting from the shadow side is always where it's at
Indeed. That’s that’s cinematic lighting
Round 1 - 2, Round 2 -2, Round 3 -3
I like this answer 👊🏾

thanks for your feedback
There is a better way to do off camera flash. Put the flash on the hot shoe and don't turn it on. This way its always off. LOL
LOL
