I have depression, and it was very difficult for me to "feel" things. But I felt like I was on a rollercoaster while listening to this music. 22 minutes sounded like 2 seconds for me!

For someone who experiments so much with tuning and harmonic timbre, it's somewhat refreshing to see Grisey limit himself to untuned percussion and still pull it off masterfully.

i've once seen a performance where they used click tracks, so each person was wearing headphones or earphones and had a metronome each clicking only for themselves, which the audience and the other players could not hear
