      Maybe you think he had an easy life? Maybe you think you could live the same and not to die in a few monts? Oh, I think no. So Nikki's life and his books are the great example how you should not doing, and the same time, these are books about a man who could survive in hell and got back to the normal life, family life. It's awful that Razzle dead. We all make mistakes when we're young. And these mistakes are being paid after. Sometimes it's too expensive, as it was to Vince, Nikki, and others. And if that car crash didn't happen, nobody would say that Vince is asshole bacause he was driving being drunk. But! Substitution of concepts that's how I'd say about Andy. A stupid attempt to remind about yourself, splashing lies and your stupid fantasies. And Andy, you're envious because you're not so popular after years, and can't make so much money. But Motley are being loved through the decades, and they're still kicking asses, whole stadiums are singing their songs in 2022. Just keep this fact - Motley are still famous, and you're staying just a ghost of the past.

(By the way, there was no "in-depth" anything in the book, it was rambling and drawings from a dude on drugs! But you wouldn't know that, because I don't think you ever seen a page inside of the book. Do I think the ambulance story is true? No, that I think was made up at the time for when Kickstart My Heart was becoming a song. Everyone still hating on Vince and Crue over Razzles death need to understand a few things.. First both Vince and Razzle were at the party, they both chose to get in the car, the both chose to go on a beer run.. And let's not forget what it was like in the earlier 80's folks. Drinking and driving back then wasn't "shamed" like it is now. It took a lot more of these types of accidents and deaths for laws to get stricter and for society to get on board w/ shaming drunk drivers. It was a normal thing back then to go to the bar, club or party and drive home. I remember as a teen my parents started making us wear seatbelts for the first time around 85' and for the back seat, seat belts I remember my dad having me climb into the trunk to stuff the belts back up onto the seats. I didn't even know our car had seatbelts till then. Times were different and this type of stuff got handled differently that it does today. Does it excuse it, no. But these two guys aren't the only ones that ever decided to get in a car and drive while intoxicated. The result was sad and Vince has been living w/ this for a long long time.. So move on.

      @@markus1642 No one is saying Vince wasn't driving and due to them being intoxicated one of them got killed and others got injured yes. It was tragic. But why should anyone especially now after all these years still hate on him for an accident? Are you perfect? You never did anything wrong? Never driven higher than the speed limit, never not put your seat belt on, never checked your phone or texted while driving? never had a drink or two and drove somewhere? And the list goes on and on. We cannot blame or shame anyone, especially this many years, decades later for an accident. And Vince didn't get "away" with it. He was charged with vehicular manslaughter and a DUI. He served some jail time, had to do 200 hours of community service, pay 2.6 million in restitution, which is equivalent to around 7.4 million today and he's had to live w/ this his entire life. It has done some damage to him over the years. If you're thinking he didn't do enough jail time, things were different back then, you could go to jail for decades for having pot, but drunk driving was considered a lesser crime at the time. As well as vehicular manslaughter. Back then, the law considered it an accident. It wasn't planned, premeditated etc. so the sentencing wasn't as severe as it is now. Because stuff like this happened a lot leading up to the late 80's/90's... laws have changed. I remember when there was no such thing as a seatbelt law or helmet law for motorcycles etc. If you want to be mad at what little jail time Vince did for this, be mad at the justice system in 1984

    • @ryant3600
      @ryant3600 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@thewhiteelephant I remember this happening and first he didn't get away with it.. Not sure what you think should have happened? death penalty? And he never got away with it. He lives w/ this guilt every day. But, again if you want to be mad at something for this.. Be mad at the justice system in 1984. Back then you could go to prison for up to life for marijuana, but vehicular manslaughter was considered an accident. which it is. I live in a small town in Northern Ca we have a little theater called Cascade Theater. Once in a while a good act comes around they sometimes have good shows. When I heard Joe Satriani was coming to town I wanted to buy tickets. The cheapest tickets at the time were $179 for balcony. Since then the price has skyrocketed to $414 for balcony and $644 for Orchestra. All touring bands are trying to cash in with ridiculous prices right now. I heard Bruce Springsteen tickets are averaging about $1400 and he's almost a billionaire. All these artists are doing the money grab. There's no reason to charge these prices these people don't care if they sell 10 tickets let alone fill the venue. Motley Crue are washed up drug addicts with some really old hits from the 80s and nothing good since then. I heard Tommy Lee is still messed up from a broken rib from carrying some luggage and falling down some stairs. They say he can't do more than a couple of songs and they bring in a stand in drummer to cover most of the show for him but don't tell you that before you buy tickets. I may never go to another concert again!

    I have been a Crue fan for 30+ years. Just saw them in Hershy P.A. Wasnt expecting much honestly. Other then Vince singing much better then expected, didnt get a lot out of it. Def Leppard out of all "metal" bands, blew them off the stage. I am not a Def Leppard fan,but... They were twice as loud, and crystal clear. From comments from other shows, it seems to be the norm. The only way i can make sense of it is the Crue is a money grab, and D.L. had something to prove. And man did they. They thrive in a stadium environment. Also, I have heard a few clips from shows after P.A. and Vince sounded Suspiciously great. Almost perfect. Hard to tell on a phone. I know they, and lots of bands use click tracks, but another clip showed Tommy with sime sort of technical issues. As his drum tech was in conversation with him, the symbols started crashing before he even sat down. It may be nothing. Either way.. They should be embarrassed, for letting D.L. or any other band sound and perform that much better, night after night. especially for almost $200 a ticket.

    People forget too, that Vince was picked to do a NY state drunk driving ad promo featuring various musicians. The ad ran for a month where Vince said that "We have to get these drunk drivers off the road". Then it came out that he was involved in a drunk car accident that killed a fellow musician, who is the Hanoi Rocks musician, and the ad was pulled, making an embarrassing movement for the Mothers Against Drunk Driving organization. Why did he do that ad and embarrass that organization? There never was any fanfare for that drummer's death by the band either. They were all good friends at the time from what I read in The Dirt book. It was just business as usual I guess. Terrible.

( original members) I don’t count the others even though I love the Corabi stuff and New Tattoo, I hated that Motley went glam after the accident too, seemed liked they stole some image ideas from HR also at the time. Also definitely not into taking shots at people through the media. What's the purpose? This goes for both sides or anyone it just makes you look small and petty. As for the movie I'm sure they did a lot of crazy stuff that they could have put in there, and didn't. It's also a movie it's supposed to be entertaining. Sprinkle in some truth blow it up a bit a dash of some embellishment. Equals good entertainment and profit. They were just guys who played music & dressed in a image for their younger fans back in the day.
    Now those same fans want a trip down nostalgia lane.
    People get a life & remember they are a rock band that is there for our entertainment if we want to pay to go see them.

    You need to get someone to go over your subtitles, there are some spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.

    Sounds like he has some valid points. All except that the Crue doesn’t have some good songs. I listen to the Crue and others because I love hard rock and metal. Not because I want to hear their bullshit and lack of good life choices.

    Man it’s not healthy having that much hate and resentment towards someone. He’s gotta learn how to deal with it. It’s been a life time already man.
