Hi Brian - I went 152 flying for the first time in 18 years last week and the practice with SayIntentions gave me more RT confidence than I ever had when I was flying regularly back in the 90s - thank you!
Wow. This weekly update keep us live. And takes away our anxiety of what is going to happen next, or will this be fixed etc. and whether we discontinue using SayIntentionsAI. Thank you Brian. ❤
For the readback, sometimes it helps if I say "Roger...." which usually tips off the AI that I'm acknowledging as opposed to asking for something. On the crowd sourcing for voices, why not just open it up officially and have volunteers do some reading outside the game so you can have cleaner training data? People fumbling to say the right thing during a flight could introduce problems as you guys undoubtedly noticed (babies crying :-)). I'd love to have my voice in game and I'm sure lots of people would too. So far it hasn't been selected and I'm sure its because I'm a mumbling fool when I'm playing as I tend to concentrate on flying as opposed to annunciating my words with purpose :-)
As far as getting the AI to differentiate between a report and a readback, in general readbacks are spoken as instruction followed by callsign, whereas reports are generally spoken as callsign followed by report. Perhaps having the AI determine the position of the callsign can help it determine if a response is a report or a readback.

As far as cabin crew goes - well, i stopped using it after hearing “i’m Jessica” for the seventh time in one flight. Yes, i know you are Jessica, you told us already. It is way too scripted for the time being, and, unfortunately, instead of concentrating on figuring out how to get it right (you are all for realism, right?) you try to amuse us by getting our moms on the plane. I don’t need my mom on the plane. I don’t need funny cabin crew. It is an immersion breaker. Just give me a realistic and professional one, please. Thats how it is in the real world you are so willing to recreate. Tnx!!
