This was Cartoon Network before its Dark Ages.
I completely agree. For me this was the last good memories of CN before it transition itself into the Dark Ages. Summer 2007 left a good legacy for us born in the 90s.
A lot of people say Fall 2007 was the start of the trashy era.
YoQuiero LosTacos Yeah near 2008 cause CN real came. All the CN real shows were trash except Tower prep and unnatural history, shame they didn't get a 2nd season.

Remember that 2012 was the last decade for cartoon network before the annoying and childlish the ttg thing back in 2013 when they killed the timeslot and give episode back to back all day back around 2017

Rhodie Slayer well.. since 2014 -present thier a lot more better and i think a new cn generation has officially taken over so the new goolden age of these now cn originals will be next! which ain't so bad. at leat thier putting effort now than 2009-2012

This was the last era Cartoon Network didn’t suck. Beloved classics like Billy & Mandy and Codename: KND were still running strong, no live-action or Canadian acquisitions running at the time, and plenty of variety on the schedule (unlike today).
Aw, I liked some of the live action shows. I thought the Noods from 2008-10 were charming.

I thought people were exaggerating but if you go and look up the lineups after this year and read about the new head of cn then you can see why everyone is saying the quality drops down HARD after this year, it's insane.
Ahh, sooo many good memories, especially watching Code Lyoko Season 4! Summer when I graduated from 5th grade and elementary school, before entering middle school and before CN went downhill.
This was the last decent era of Cartoon Network before it went downhill hard. Mainly because a lot of the Cartoon Network shows cancelled/ended. But it was good again in 2010 when regular show and adventure time premiered which was one of the last good shows on CN. But in 2013 I stopped watching Cartoon network completely mainly because a shitload marathons of TTG!
If you think that was bad, you should look at the Cartoon Network US Christmas 2017 schedule! SPOILER ALERT: It was all TTG except Friday 29th December 2017 from 7:30pm till 8pm! The schedule lasted from Christmas Eve till New Year's Eve!

Damn good old days when Cartoon Network was good i miss my childhood
This was the last time CN was good before the fall. After this era ended I stopped watching anything that was on CN at the time except for a few good shows like chowder as shows like Foster’s and KND were coming to an end.
Facts man. I miss those days. we're getting old im about to be 22 soon.

Yeah, that was definitely the best summer, and this kind of paled in comparison. But it was still leagues above the following summer.
@@kenyaholloway-reliford8213 I agree, Summer 2005 was when CN at its highest peak. But everything did jumped the shark pretty hard after Summer 2007 because of many reasons. CN Fridays is gone, Miguzi is gone, Toonami and all of their anime got cancelled. Let’s all be honest 2000-2006, is pretty much CN’s golden days, because everything did fall apart after that.

This was just before the downhill of Cartoon Network US which happened from 2007 till 2010. During that time period, Cartoon Network Fridays ended, most of the good Cartoon Network shows were cancelled or ended, Toonami on Cartoon Network US ended, etc.
All the people here talking trash about the Nood era most likely didn't grow up with it and are just talking out of their asses. As someone who grew up with CN in the late 2000s/early 2010s, the Nood era was still pretty damn good. I definitely put it above the summer/fall 2007 era. The bumpers were awesome, there was a good variety of shows, and there was still reruns of older shows. And as for CN Real, that block only took up a small portion of the schedule and only lasted like a year. I'll admit, I don't remember this era that much. As much as I respect it, it seemed a lot more boring compared to the Nood era. The Nood era was not CN's dark age. CN's actual dark age is its current era.
I grew up with both and even a bit of the previous era, even watched a lot of the reality stuff at the time as well. I agree with you that it's not AS bad as people say but if you go and look up what was goin on around the time frame you can compare the quality from the different eras and see that most that came after this was not that good.

I think CN still would’ve gone downhill even if Samples didn’t resign in 2007. Remember, most of the shows he released during the city and yes era ( pet alien, squirrel boy, krypto, tickle u, gym partner etc) were really sloppy, when compared to the eairler hits like Ed Edd n eddy, teen titans, Ralph & Sam, Ozzy & Drix, samurai jack, or courage. Plus in interviews he said that “ although CN will remain an animation channel their would be some live action on the way” ( And then came Re-animated in December 2006 which became a tv show that he also greenlit( he also greenlit the first Ben 10 live action movie to release later that year as well). Oh and Tom 4 was introduced in March 2007 and Tom 4 was in development beige Samples left. So even though the dark ages began with Snyder, CN was already starting to show decline in quality around the samples era between 2005-2007
