Still beautiful, even with the mold. The plants and fountains are such a treat

Some of us remember when it really was just a hill with a radio tower on it. 🤣🤣Broad Street was a 2 lane road and there was no I-77. Feeling old 👴

Huge silent hill fan here ...whenever I go to this mall I imagine I'm in the mall from silent hill 3. Always love the vibes

I worked in this mall when it had a Sears. I’m from Statesville, NC and grew up coming to this mall all the time, so many memories

I just went to the Valley Hills Mall in Hickory, about 20 miles away. Relatively speaking, it is still going strong.

rip signal. his name was Wilson. He always did what he could my first visited he was vacuuming up all the spilled water and keeping it as clean as possible. Always kept the fountain in no matter what, and you are correct demo has made it into the Sears wing ATM.

Thanks for sharing. Had seen this mall on a couple of other YT accounts; thanks for documenting it’s final hours.

Great video about Signal Hill Fox! I've been watching you track it over the past couples of years on Discord and it's crazy how decayed it was. Look forward to the next video!

Seems like malls made it from 1970 until about 1995. Kind of sad.

That mall is a HEALTH HAZARD! If The Annapolis Mall or any other mall was like that I would absolutely refuse to go inside! The owners should be ashamed to leave a property in that state! No wonder belk closed it off their store to the rest of the mall. Unbelievable.

Can’t go inside now. It’s shuttered.

It definitely was an oddity how it managed to stay open in the state it was in while it was still open. However as DyingRetail said, it closed in January 2024.
