Nice idea, but if I lived in that town with those cops, we would be moving. Then home schooling the kids, because in no way would I ever rely again on someone else. In fact we are working on making it so we never rely on other humans again.
I think that is nice, but I find USA so odd, because of the lack of social security, everyone relies on the kindness of individuals, through initiatives like this and gofundme.
