Most definitely!
she gotta put that sad story in
Also flight of the bumblebee never fails.
Sad story = Instant Gold buzzer
It would be a waste of her time and talent !

I've never even touched or seen a violin in my life, but I'ma just pretend I understand everything lol

Maybe yes, maybe no. I saw a certain level of musicality and intuitive interpretation that I'm not sure would jibe with the "no love for classical music" you assume about her. What I was hearing was not something even the most demanding parents could drum into her by rote.
Of course, it is true that one's enthusiasms do change with age. (Remember a couple of decades ago, when the 12-year-old Charlotte Church was supposedly on the way to becoming the next great operatic soprano?) But that isn’t the same as saying the enthusiasm was never there in the first place.
My friend was like that. He has tons of certificate and awards as a pianist. Then he decided not to perform again, he found a new hobby. I told him to give his talent to meee!!!

Lol How do you think Paganini would have felt seeing this?! 😂
"Meh. Even a child can play your music."
He would've been like, "Paga-NANI?!"
probably would have invighted her to a master class where he composes music just for them
He'd say, 'Huh. I should have made it HARDER. Triple harmonics! Quadruple stops! Picazatto and vibrato!'
Clearly paganini is so easy even a child can play it. So unimpressed with him.
Forgiven Sinner lmao quadruple stopped
So i watched this ice skiing video, and the coach said "children have no fear, that's why they learn faster and just go for it, cause they don't know how it feels to fall". And I think it's true here too. As you grow up, you get more fearful and give up more quickly cause you fear the fall. She doesn't fear nothing which is why she probably could practice relentlessly, she is a goddess no doubt jsjsjs you guys shouldn't fear either! I mean from one who only picked a violin once cause my sister had to go to the toilet lol, I think even getting to have correct posture and getting one good note out of it is INCREDIBLE.
I guess what I want is for you guys to take the ling ling self esteem potion and go for it cause yall are amazing, not only at playing violing, but at comunicating and bringing people together. You make me enjoy learning about music and violin jsjsjs You shine in your own way, and I hope that as long as you love it and it makes you happy, you keep picking up the violin. Hugs from Chile!
I don't know, by ten, I certainly knew the fear of failure and didn't want to do a lot of things because of it.
Or her parents are making her do this. Tbh I doubt she had much of a say.
You're nice but I think privilege plays a huuuge factor in creating such talent
@@rubenleavell I think the parents might be telling her to practice daily, but she certainly could not have achieved this much without a lot of drive herself. More likely than not, she and her sister are competitive with each other. I remember reading an interview of Lang Lang, who had the ultimate tiger dad, but even then, he self propelled to go back to practice after a few months when he quit temporarily as a teen.
@@fn3108 A competent parent is an advantageous asset indeed, but I've seen a lot of wealthy parents that have trash kids who just burns money because they don't feel the need to try learning anything. Yeah.. I also want to hear. 2 months really isn't enough time. I thought he did pretty good with only 2 months. There is this anime that came out recently about the Japanese koto (instrument based off of the Chinese Guzheng) where there was one girl who practiced this one song for 2 years and played it absolutely perfectly (of course she was up against a younger prodigy) but it could happen maybe that lil girl practiced just this song for years

hello fellow potterhead!
I have to say, one of the great things about being a vocalist is that we don’t have to worry about literal children being better than us lol. I think any classical singer worth their salt would acknowledge the effort and encourage the student but internally I’d be judging their voice teacher HARD if the kid was singing the same opera rep I am as an adult. The growing voice needs to be tended with care. IMO, there’s plenty of art songs out there that can teach children anything that’s age and development appropriate. No need to rush the demands of operatic rep and risk damaging the voice.
Hello, opera gang here too. I totally agree! I'd be super super concerned instead of amazed. Always start with art songs (at age 13, 12 if you're really trying to push it) and only go on with harder pieces as you get much much older. It's also always best to follow a syllabus like TCL.
have you heard Dimash?

I think honestly the hardest part of being in the music career path is that you know that even if you put in alot of effort, talent still undeniably plays an important part
Also when those talented people maybe put in more effort than you do
But its still amazing to be able to work in something that you love, and thats all that matters so heads up guys!
Esther Wong to be honest in my opinion, talent is something you earn from the dedication and time you spend on an instrument. It wouldn’t matter how good you are or how talented you are because the music you play can be admired as long as you love what you’re doing.
These two lads are a credit to humanity in their generosity of spirit and humility. They acknowledge talent in others and are modest about their own ability. Blessings and peace to them

Geniuses are born but for the record geniuses and prodigies are not the same thing. Lot's of geniuses weren't prodigies, and only rarely prodigies made themselves known as geniuses.
Not that it makes those of us who are neither feel any better.

Brett: I know-
Eddy: What are we doing, bro?
All of us be dying in the insides!!

Impressive! Paganini, check this kid out!
I'm just waiting for Mr. Paganini's response to this.
Me after seeing Ziyu perform this piece: "Maybe I can play like him by the time I'm 16!"
Me after seeing this video: "So how much does this viola cost?"
me, not a musician: I QUIT! and I haven't even planned or started yet. :(
Me: *Ight time to switch to the leaf*
8:55 is that a tear in his left eye?? Lol
Edit: I hope this girl has some kind of normal childhood
She doesn't.
We Asian children do not have normal lives
You mean bullying other children? Haha
Andy Hanson no
Lol I can relate to that
Aww Twoset! We know you aren’t the most talented 5 year olds, we love you because you are humble, hilarious, hard working and very talented too. We love your passion... I mean I love seeing young talented musicians, but you get horror stories of some who are treated so badly or forced 😢 I love seeing that you two respect and enjoy every moment of your musical experiences... even the bad and the ugly!!
That is what makes you so wonderfully special and enjoyable. Alongside two beautiful humans, countless wonderful editors and marketing team and all those involved in the products you make.
Thank you for being Twoset. And please keep being yourselves! I know it’s hard when there is always someone better out there, but nobody is a better Twoset! 🤩😍
I couldn't have said it better myself!
Yes I fully agree!
r/wholesome
Yeah, and thanks for helping me appreciate the musical nuances. If you didn't break down the unique parts, the whole piece would just be one long beautiful sound to me. I don't play any music instrument, but I like music.
Beautifully said, Terry! Thank you!
TH-cam : Hey wanna see two musicians demolishing their self esteem ?
Me : Has a ton of homework due tomorrow
Also me : Oh yeah why not
That's me and my ADHD. Lol
I like how Brett reacts with his eyes while Eddy reacts with his mouth.
hilarious self-deprecation aside, it's really cool that one of the best violin competitions invited twoset which sort of acknowledges the massive impact and growing importance they have had on classical music. keep on trucking, you crazy motherlovers
Did you read the announcement?
"Chances are good that if you are reading this, you understand what a coup this is for Richmond! but in case you are not yet familiar with Brett and Eddy’s antics, get prepared to go down a TH-cam rabbit hole."
walterbitner.com/2020/01/22/menuhin-competition-richmond-2020-announces-competitors-twoset-violin-and-more/
"In addition to the exciting engagement activities planned for competitors and local musicians, we will be joined by the internationally acclaimed musical comedy duo, TwoSet Violin. "
2020.menuhincompetition.org/news/meet-our-competitors-349876
They were not only invited, but they were praised! So they might make fun of themselves, but they did achieve a lot in their own right.
I just hope this little girl has a fulfilling childhood and she is not being forced to play violin, and she is happy to practice it ;-;
Does she look like she's been forced to do any of this?
@@pjbpiano well she doesn't look like she'd be doing this with all her passion either 🤔 hard to tell.
Easy to tell. She has reached the pinnacle of violin playing. Already too much investment to turn back now.
@@pjbpiano I mean, child prodigies turn away from music in their mid-late teens all the time.
TSV: " Nel cor POPO PA sento"
Me, as an italian Person: *Dying in Spaghetti*
I've been playing violin for about a year, and prodigies genuinely make me feel impressed and motivated. This is the first time i felt like crying and burying my violin 6 feet under from hearing a prodigy. She's only 10 wtf (am 14, playing violin since 13, and piano since 7)

"Dude she bowed so casually, she's like, ain't got time for this, gotta practice more"
-sounds like Arima Kousei walking out of competitions after performing. Without even knowing the results
Fuck this shit, gotta practice
Grand Gascon ahhh Arima Kousei ❤️
Your lie in April reference? Ok
You guys are far more accomplished than I could ever be and your admiration for the young students' progress is just so wholesome. Her playing is AMAZING by the way
There are two major types of twosetviolin videos:
-Roasting the crap out of actors who can’t play
-Getting the crap roasted out of when watching prodigies and professional soloists play
LingLing has a daughter...
Eddie: Sounds like a light cheese cake
...
I actually prefer dense cheesecakes. If it's light it should be a souffle or an angel cake or mousse.
10 year old: exists
Another asian being born right now: I’m about to end this girl’s whole career
3:45 “i have a theory ... we don’t practicing enough “...😅 me
I don’t know that I can even express. I was feeling really stressed this morning. But Twoset’s videos always bring me joy and I’m really glad that there was a new video when I looked. I really needed it. Thank you TwoSet Violin 💜💜💜
I cried a little bit watching this
Dude I thought my self esteem was getting better but this just dropped it back to zero 😭
So amazing honestly
Zero is still better than minus, cheers lol
Twosetviolin: upload a video like 3 minutes ago
Me: lets see the comennt section
...
Also me: wtf where is the end?!
