I'm glad you put ICO here in the end. It recieves praise from critics, but a lot of people still haven’t heard of it or had the opportunity to check it out yet.
I'm honestly shocked by how good Ice Age 3 looks for being a licensed kids game that was released extremely late in the PS2's life. It also looks like the kind of game I would've loved as a kid because I grew up watching the Ice Age movies a lot.
Ikki Tousen Ikki Tousen ( Japanese: 一騎当千, Hepburn: Ikkitōsen, lit. "A Mighty Knight Who Matches a Thousand Knights"), also known as Battle Vixens in North America, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Shiozaki. IMO I recall the first session Animation being good, But later entries were so, so
Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit in the UK) and Ico were two absolutely massive games from their time and the opposite of hidden gems. Ico especially still gets loads of articles and videos made about it, and Indigo Prophecy comes up to have the piss taken out of it's mad zombie sex whenever Quantic Dream make a new game. The rest of the list is pretty fun though, thanks for making the video.
I'm too lazy to look it up but I believe that Ico shares the same director and/or developer as Shadow of the Colossus. Both games I wouldn't mind playing some day.
Turns out letter I actually does have a handful of good games. Played I-Ninja back in the day when I was a teenager. Remember it being decent, but I think I didn't appreciate it as much as it might deserve because during that console generation we had so many great adventure platformers. Might re-visit, as I usually like ninja and samurai themed games. Indigo Prophecy is definitely a unique game that some people may not be aware of. It's from the developer Quantic Dreams, who later gave us games like Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, Detroit Become Human. And just like these more recent games I mentioned, Indigo Prophecy also has multiple possible endings. I would also recommend it.
crazy how ICO is considered a hidden gem when it's one of the best games on the platform. definitely check out Red Star and Sub Rebellion for the gameplay-focused excellence
Anime girls & jiggle physics has reminded me of another one to recommend y'all for later. The Onechanbara games! EDIT: Regarding ICO, first off great choice, but also yes Yorda is technically a Princess because the Queen is her mother. One of my all time favourite games.
Well that sounds right up my street. I’ve added it to the list, thank you ☺️. I should really get round to playing SotC. I have the remaster on ps4. So really I have no excuse!
U emulate or not? or both? If so, why not upscale? Just curious. Maybe u dont like it, again im just curious. Also ICO and I Ninja, best ones on this list, or at least for me.
Indigo prophecy is a Hidden Gem? Really? I thought it was a AAA hit, back in a day, same as the Heavy Rain bit later. For my taste it's the best Quantic Dream game, period
Yeah to be fair I had heard a lot about it before the vid. This was my first time playing. Really like it. Haven't finished it yet, but I actually bought the remaster for my Steam Deck after playing this one, so will be doing that over the weekend, I think.
@@thereviewsbrothers3854This game is deceiving. I have never seen such a 180 in a game. It starts so great then the game goes bonkers. I think the devs discovered weed after starting development. The second half of the game is some fever dream s**t. Worth a playthrough. You'll remember the game the ending s**tshow

One of the best game and memory from childhood👍❤️

Yeah, I am a sucker for 3D platform games, I really like them. I thought it would be alright. But was much better than expected!

Ah ok. I thought it must have been based on one. But when I looked (for all of 5 minutes) I just saw stuff about this game. Thanks for that :)

Ikki Tousen on psp is a fantastic side scrolling beat em up series
I'm too lazy to look it up but I believe that Ico shares the same director and/or developer as Shadow of the Colossus. Both games I wouldn't mind playing some day.
Yeah, I actually haven't tried Shadow of the Colossus yet. I have the remaster on the PS4, so really have no excuse :P
All very unique games imo. I'd like to try Ice Age and Inspector Gadget, they look fun. Thanks for the video Bros

I-Ninja is one of my favorite 3d platformers of all time, along with Dr. Muto. Both of these games are amazing.

Ico always reminds me of woodkid run boy run song lol if you have seen the music video
Lulz, I am the same, love bullet hells but i suck at them 😅
Thanks for the video 😊👍🏼
Ah, going strong!!! Going strongk!!!

Also also, Ueda confirmed that ICO & Shadow of the Colossus are connected narratively.
SotC is actually the prequel.

Not sure decent is the correct word to describe ikki tousen with…
