Hey man, great video and everything works with stretched res, only question I had is when I'm in the lobby screen all of my recon, support and controller legends icons are gone and I cant select them to change banners, skins, etc. Is there any fix for this, or is this just a problem on my end?
@@SymFaL nope, i have the same problem.
You can just Put the game to 1920x1080 in the ingame settings, change everything u wanna change and relaunch the game, it will automatically be stretched again.
Its kinds annoying but u cant do anything abt it
@@veedzfps Yeah, the only way I could keep my legend locker looking normal and still having some sort of stretched was going to 1600x1080

it didnt work for me when i load apex it shows 1920x1080 even when i do alt+enter it shows black bars
@@monkeyman-v8z make sure, that you have properly added the resolution in your nvidia settings.
And make sure that you have checked read-only in the videoconfig file.
And most important, that you have properly copy pasted the launch options.

i did everything correctly but when i launch the game it isnt streched in the continue place
Make sure that you put the files back to read only
@veedzfps i got it working, the only thing is it only works if i put 1080x1080 and mu FOV is decreased
@StenRapp 1080x1080 shouldnt work.. Maximum should be 5:4
And your fov shouldnt be decreased..

what if my monitor already have the custom res i want to play on?

@veedzfps when I opened my apex it does not work but i found a way to fix it by making the resolution i want my default monitor res, then i enter apex and it works but when i set my video settings and hit apply it will get black bars but i just close and re enter then boom i have the stretched res i want. this might help for others that have the same problem as me

do you have to change your resolution first before launching apex?
you do all the steps with the video config file and the autoexec while having apex closed, and when youre done you just launch the game and it should work
Most important step is setting the files to read only so the game doesnt change it when u launch it

Why in saved game i dnt have the file

On the top where it shows the file path you are in it should say your name.
Something like "USER/ [your name] /..."

@BeamedByAcd when entered the game dont change res. It wont work then. That u dont See the legends is normal, just Select them by navigating with arrow keys and select with spacebar
There is a command to fix this. I'll find it and paste it here soon.
